Hailee's POV:

"No, taco's are the best!" Chloe says getting frustrated with Tyler. "I still think nacho's are." I state before turning my attention to the board. I feel eyes on me, which make me extremely self-conscious. "Hailee?" Tyler asks softly. "Are you okay?" He asks noticing me hiding my face with my long, blonde hair. I nod my head, obviously lying. Mhmm, okay, look at me." He instructs, which I ignore. Tyler sighs before he positions his fingers under my chin and softly moves my face towards him. "There's that beautiful face of yours baby." He says sweety, making my cheeks turn a crimson red. "How about we go out tonight, away from all of the drama?" Tyler suggests. "We could go on a date." He continues. "Okay, what will we do?" I ask curiously. "It's a surprise but dress warm." He says. "But it's summer." I say, obviously confused. "Just do it okay baby." Tyler says. "Okay." I agree before we both turn our heads towards the front to continue with our work.

I'm walking to the cafeteria with Tyler on my right, Chloe on my left, and Blake leading us to our table. "Excuse me, you're at our table." Blake says. Chloe pulls me back a bit and Tyler walks up to where Blake is standing. "Oh really, I had no idea." A voice I know all too well says sarcastically. "Hope." I say coldly, walking up to our table. "Oh, if it isn't Hailee." Hope says frowning slightly. Her eyes suddenly light up as if she has an idea. Uh oh. Hope stands up and stands on top of the table. "Could I have everyone's attention please." Hope says loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Why don't we tell everyone what happened to poor Hailee when she were nine years old, with her uncle?" Hope says with an evil glint in her eyes. "Go for it." I say bravely. To say Hope looked shocked was an understatement. I can sense many pairs of eyes curious on me. Then again, we are making a huge scene in the middle of the cafeteria. I feel Tyler's hand slip into mine and Chloe's hand do the same with my other hand. "For years you managed to hurt me, make me feel like I was nothing. I don't care how many people you tell. I don't care how many people bully me, because this time, I actually have people who care about me, and will be there for me." I say standing my ground. Hope looks taken aback. "The thing is Hope, if you find joy in hurting me, you are the one that should be embarrassed." I finish. "Ugh!" Hope screaches, stomping her foot and walking away.

"I can't believe you actually did that." Tyler says still amazed. We are in the car, heading towards our date destination. I'm over heating. Ugh. "Are we there yet?" I ask for the fifth time. "No!" Tyler says laughing a little. I wait a few more minutes before asking again. "Actually, now we are." He says. I look up from my hands to look out the window. "Ice skating?" I ask. "Yeah, but if you don't want to, we can go somewhere else." Tyler says, rubbing the back of his neck. A grin spreads across my face. "I love ice skating!" I squeal already running towards the door. I hear Tyler sigh in relief before hearing Tyler's footsteps running behind me.
