Carter was very tired and fatigue.
"Looking after Lily.. I just can't do it!"
I was petrified. Is he breaking up with Lily?

I could hear Carter talking but couldn't make out what he was saying.
"Carter!"
He rushed in.
"Can you get me some tea?"
I asked him.
He went out a came back with tea.
He is so kind.

I can't deal with this anymore it might be time to leave Lily even though she cares but cutting!
