Lauren Jauregui's Point Of View

"Finally, I couldn't stand being inside that plane anymore." Dinah grumbled.

"Don't complain so much, we flew first class."

I let out with a smile as I pushed the cart with the luggage towards the exit of the International Airport of Miami, where a car was already waiting for us. Dinah was originally set to stay in New York to finish some important designs for our winter collection, however, the blonde made absolute question of being present during the weekend.

"I don't know why you didn't tell me before that you were coming, I'd have stayed."

"That's exactly why, dear. If I told you, you wouldn't come." The blonde said with a presumptuous smile.

"You know I want distance..."

"From your project? The one you fought for years to get?" She interrupted me.

"No, Dinah. Distance from Camila."

"Well, you have to get used to it once and for all because Camila Cabello is part of your project. And her success in this campaign is your own." She said as she took off her jacket, walking to the car reserved for us.

"I hate when you're right."

She let out an amused laugh, stopping beside the car. The private driver greeted us politely before putting our luggage inside the trunk. We got into the vehicle, and headed towards the mansion reserved for the summer editorial of VS. It was one of the many properties of the company, throughout the North American soil there was more.

"I love this Miami weather, I could live here." Dinah said as she lowered the window.

"I love it too."

"Do you miss it here?" She asked as she put on her sunglasses.

"Yes, sometimes I do, and sometimes I don't." I whispered as I stared at the avenues.

"Your family is no longer here, right?"

"No, they moved to San Francisco, California, as usual."

"But you still have many acquaintances here, soon you'll see them all."

"That's the problem, I don't want to see them."

Dinah stared at me for a few instants, and then turned her attention to the coast, it was a wonderful sight. I confess that that place brought me incredible moments that I could never forget. There was a lot of people on the sidewalk between kiosks and benches, enjoying the sunny day and the cool breeze that Miami offered. My attention was completely stolen by the landscape, and the movement of the sea in the background, until I looked at the huge billboard that stood out in one of the buildings across the street. It was a Calvin Klein advertisement, and the main model was none other than Karla Cabello. She looked stunning, wearing only jeans and high heels, having her breasts covered by her delicate hands.

"It's hard to get over when your ex is on all the world's magazine covers, right?" Dinah mocked.

"Shut up." I retorted as I closed the car window.

"I don't know why you still get so irritated so easily over her. You work with her, and soon you'll be with her in person."

"She does everything to piss me off, can't you see?"
