Tonight is the dance Today I tell Leo how I feel about him I'm nervous ............... All of these thoughts are still in my head by the time I wake up Mia knocks on my door "I can tell your nervous" she says "Is it that noticeable?" I ask "Not really....don't worry you'll be fine" Mia reassures me I smile we run downstairs and out the front door to Lynn's (I changed the owners name since Lynn is more easier to remember for me😂) Time skip............ We usually talk outside since we only have 15 minutes until we have to walk to school "Hey guys" I greet "Hey Kira and Mia" Zach greets "So sleepover at my place tonight?" Kenzie asks "Y'know we can't" Claire starts "The school dance is tonight" Mia finishes "Yeah, I'm glad we only have to get through 3 classes, then we get to help with the dance committee" Bree says we all look at her "What?" Leo asks as we start walking to school "Oh did I forget to mention that I signed us up for the dance committee" she says "You forgot to add that part" I mumble "Sorry" Bree says "Ok moving on.." Zach says "What happened yesterday? You with the janitors closet?" "Uh....nothing" I say avoiding eye contact with Leo "He doesn't know?" Claire whispers "No" I whisper back "Leo kissed Kira" Mia blurted my eyes widen "Mia!" I yell "Sorry but he had to know" she says "She's right. Kira why didn't you guys tell me? We're all best friends, and best friends don't keep secrets" Zach tells me as we enter the high school "I know I'm sorry" I mumble "I am really" I tell him the bell rings and Mia leaves to go to the middle school while we all head to class Time skip............... We were all currently in the gymnasium getting our last touches on "Remind me never to ask you to sign me up for something again" I say to Bree as we leave "You can't count on that" she says as she and the others leave "Leo....I-" I begin "I like you too" I say he smiles "I know you're already going to ask me to the dance" I laugh "Yeah" I say we leave the gymnasium Time skip................. Mia and I walked back to my house and into my room where we got ready I was wearing.......

I walk out of my bathroom "K...you look amazing" Mia gasps I laugh "Thanks" "Look at my little sister" I hear Olivia say "Livi........I'm not little, I'm 14" I tell her "Whatever, come on mom wants us downstairs for a picture" We all walk downstairs Time skip................ "Honey...you look amazing" dad says as we enter the living room "Thanks dad" I say "You're welcome sweetie" Mom says we all stand for a picture "See ya!" I call as we head out the door and Olivia drives us to school Time skip.................... My friends are waiting outside the gym for Mia and I "See you guys later" Olivia says as she walks away "Kira,Mia? You two look awesome!" Claire and Zach cheer "Thanks I'm glad none of us have dates we can all spend time together" Mia says I roll my eyes "Kir......." Bree mumbles I nod "Like you....I like you. I have since the day I arrived" I say repeating Leo's words he smiles "I'm glad" Leo tells me I turn to my friends "Y'know? I think we can conquer high school after all" I laugh with my friends as we all dance around
