When we get to the airport Mom and Dad are waiting for us, when they see us they run up "Guys!" Mom yells as she hugs us "I missed you kids" Dad comments "Trust me Mr. C, I think you were happy without us barging into your house every day" Kenzie tells him "And all the sleep overs" Dad adds we all nod "So did you have fun?" Mom asks "Yeah, we did" I tell them I hear Bree stif a laugh and I elbow her "How was the hotel?" Mom asks "Uh......" We all mumble trying to think of an excuse since we didn't exactly stay at the hotel "It was small" Zach fills in we all look at him "Really?" I whisper "It was the best I could come up with" He whispers back I roll my eyes "How did you sleep then?" Dad asks "Uh, we...um....uh" Mia stutters "We slept on the floor" Leo says "Really? The floors not big enough" "Uh....well there were two beds, and four of us used the beds, and uh...3 slept on the floor?" He says "Let me guess....you and my daughter?" Dad asks "Dad!" I yell "No, that would never happen" Leo says "Yeah I'm not like that" I tell him "One second" Mia tells them as the 7 of us huddle together
"How are we gonna get out of this one?" Mia asks "No clue" Claire says "It's not like we can tell them that we snuck into a bar and Claire Blackwelder let us stay in her house for a month" Bree tells us "Maybe we can" Zach says "We can't! We'll get grounded forever" Kenzie tells him "I think your dads gonna kill me" Leo mumbles "I second that, your dead man" Zach tells him I laugh "Let's go"
We walk back to Mom and Dad "We met a friend and she let us stay at her house" I say "Oh, ok, so you stayed at your friends house instead of the hotel room that we spend 1,000 dollars on?!" Mom yells as we walk home "Mom, please it's fine" Mia mumbles "How was your trip otherwise?" Mom asks "It was good" Zach says "Yeah nothing illegal here" Claire says and then laughs nervously "What?" Dad asks "Nothing" I say "Ready for school to start?" Mom asks "No" we all mumble "Hey let's change the subject.....Kira can you sing us something please?" Kenzie asks "Yeah" I nod

All of my friends clap "Thanks guys" I say "Welcome" Zach tells me I smile "I hope that song wasn't a metaphor for the things that happened" Dad says I roll my eyes "Seriously? Nothing happened!" I yell "You watch your voice" Dad exclaims I groan
Time skip............
We get home and the 7 of us walk up to my room and sit in the window "I can't believe that just happened" Claire shudders "Yeah" Bree mumbles "Your dad's still gonna kill me" Leo mumbles "No he's not" Mia tells him "He is" "I can't he thought that we- y'know" I say "Yeah" Leo says we all shudder "Remember that school trip to Canada?" Kenzie asks "Don't remind me" I say "Ok" she puts her hands up in surrender "I love you guys y'know that?" Mia asks "We do. And we love you" I tell her as we all hug her "Now.." Bree says as she picks up my laptop and opens it "Who wants to watch Kira on the new trailer?" We all scream "Yeesssssss!!!" Mom comes barging in "What's wrong?!" She yells I laugh "Nothing we're just watching a movie" I tell her "Relax Mrs. Carter everything's fine" Claire tells her and Mom leaves the room "Never tell my mom to relax" Mia tells her "Noted" Claire tells her "Just like Kira won't say that she pretended to be 21" she says looking at me "We all did!" I exclaim "And technically you're the one who wanted to sneak into the bar anyway" "Well you're the one who drank" Claire tells me "In my defense, that Cabernet was disgusting" I say "How do you know what drink it was?" Leo asks "Well, I listen to songs, and identify which drink is which" I tell them "Ok KirBear weirdo" Leo mumbles I laugh "Shut up" I say as we all watch the Stalked By My Doctor: The Return trailer and then go to sleep
