We all run out of school the minute the bell rings "Summer vacation starts now!" Kenzie yells "Who's up for a road trip?" Claire asks "I am!" We all cheer "Where will we go?" I ask "I was thinking LA" Claire suggests "I'm pretty sure we all know why" Mia mumbles "What? It's not my fault if I wanna meet celebrities" "It kinda is" Zach tells her earning a kick to the shin "Ow! Clai!" "Ha ha" Leo mocks "Wait, guys can we afford this? I mean traveling across states? We're all just broke teenagers" Bree states "Maybe, but I think we can do this!" I exclaim "I can't believe we conquered our 1st high school year!" Claire cheers "You're still on that conquering rampage?" Mia asks "It's not a rampage Mi....it's a way of saying things over and over again till you agree that it IS a thing" she says I roll my eyes "Ok we get it, it's a thing" we walk home
Time skip..........
"Mom, Dad can we go to LA?!" Mia asks/ shouts as we walk through the front door "Last day of school and you guys already want to go on a road trip?" Olivia asks "Wouldn't you?" I ask "California? Isn't that a little far?" Mom asks "We'll pay for the airfare. I'm sure the 7 of us will have enough money" Zach suggests "Zach, we appreciate that but are you sure you guys want to travel the states without supervision?" "We're sure. Mom, it's not like we're traveling the world plus we're old enough to take care of ourselves, let us prove that to you and Dad" Mia tells them "Olivia what do you think?" I ask "I think it gives my little sisters some responsibility. Let them go Mom, Dad" Olivia begs I smile "Thanks Liv" "Yeah thanks Livi" Mia joins "Anytime" She says "If we let you go will you promise to be careful?" Dad asks I smirk "Careful is my middle name" "It's Lynn" Bree looks at me "You're stating the obvious" I groan as we head to the airport
