Here I stand [I'm currently editing]

Texas baby

It's 5 o'clock and my sister walked excited into my room.
"Hey can't you knock?" I asked

"Noo guess what? " she asked
"What"
"We are visiting grandpa and grandma this weekend." she said

"Nice ehmm can you maybe go shopping with me?" I asked.
"Remember two days ago you didn't want to go and now madam wants to?"

Rolling my eyes I took my suitcase from under my bed and smiled widely.
"Please I don't have anything else to wear" I lied.

"Ok meet me downstairs in a second" she left me room.
Knowing that a second is about ten minutes I grab my phone and talk to Brooklyn who wasn't too with my call because it was evening in London.

Still on the phone I grab my purse and walk downstairs meeting my sister.
"I'll call you later Brooklyn" I put my phone in my purse and look at Ashley.

"Where are mum and dad?" I asked.
"Work" she says while she calls an uber.

"How many friends have you met since we moved" I ask.
My sister has it much more easier to find friends than me.

"We've been here for three days and I have none new numbers" she says proudly.

Shortly our Uber arrives and we take a seat inside.
I give him the name of our destination and he nodds.

Twenty minutes later we walk into the mall.
It was my first time in here and i am in love with this place.

I dragged my sister into my favourite store Forever 21 and look for clothes.
My sister needs a minute until she finds something that she likes I need ten minutes until I'm ok with it.

Grabbing a jacket to my stack of clothes I went to the cashier.
She scanned my clothes and smiled at me.
I hand her my money and walk out.

"Where are we going now" my sister asks.
"Macy's I need Shawn's fragrance"
She looks at me and rolls her eyes.

We walk into the store and i grab the last one.
I pay it and walk out.
The whole day we went shopping which was fun.

Ashley called an uber again and we drove home where I packed all my clothes I needed.

Maybe moving to America wasn't too bad at least I'll get to see my cousin McKenzie who lives with my grandparents in their house.
