Chapter 27

~a week after the concert

"So what did you tell him?" Brooklyn's eyes sparkled in excitement.
"I walked away saying nothing" I said embarrassed.
"No you did not" she laughed.
"But I talked to him the next day saying that I don't like him like that" I explained while playing with my finger.
"Is that toothpick boy still ignoring you?" she asked referring to Brent.
"It's worst he won't look at me the only one talking to me are his sister and Chris" I smiled at my phone.
Brooklyn and I were FaceTiming while I walked to school.
"Forget them I'll be right next to you in seven days" she smiled.
"Yeah maybe we could visit my grandparents together then you can meet Blake he's really nice"
I opened the entrance to school and walked in.
"I'm in school now talk to you later"
I pushed my phone into my pocket and walked to my locker.
Placing all my book into it I walked to homeroom.
As soon as i entered I looked over at Chris and the others.
"Hey guys" I smiled but got ignored.
"Hello is anyone going to talk to me?" I asked confused.
"Don't you get it everyone hates you don't talk to us anymore" Lizzy screamed.
I could feel all eyes on me but I tried to ignore them.
"Ok thank you" I fake smiled and walk  out.

"Hey how was school" my sister asked.
Flabbergasted that she took her time to ask me something.
"Why do you care?
You have been ignorant since you met Xander and suddenly you care and just for your information my day was fucking bad" I snapped.
"Look I'm sorry that I've been not spending time with you?" she smiled.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"Last week I had a sleepover with my friends here we were playing truth or dare I had to take a shot glass of Hennessey and I did.
I felt sick and Blake helped me while we were upstairs they were fighting.
So the next day Brent Olivia and Caleb stopped talking to me.
Then i went on a concert with Chris and he asked me out but I didn't answer till the next day.
Now everyone is ignoring me and I feel like shit" i exclaimed.

"Look Xander invited me to the cinema and his brother is going too you could tag along" she suggested.
Nodding my head I asked her when we have to go.
She looked at her watch and mumbled "now"
I grabbed my phone and walked out of the house to her car.
Once we arrived at the cinema my sister ran up to Xander and sucked his face.
"I'm Jace" the blond waved.
"Alexis nice to meet you" I introduced myself.
"So let's go"
"Do you want popcorn?" Jace asked wiggling his eyebrow.
"Yeah I'll have some"
It was hard watching a movie next to Jack he would shut up for a second.
"Hey could y'all shut up?" Xander asked.
"Nope" he smiled at his older brother who just rolled his eyes and wrapped his long arms around my sister's body.

"So did you enjoy Spider-Man?" Xander asked Ashley but before she could answer Jace interfered.
"Yes it was amazing" he goshed.
"How do you know you didn't watch it  you were too busy flirting with Alexis who showed you no interest"
Jace's cheeks turn red as he looks down at his shoes.
"He wasn't flirting with me I kept on talking and talking" I smiled.
"Yeah whatever we have to go now" his brother smirks before he swallowed my sister's face.
"So can i have your number you seem cool" he smiled.
"Yeah give me your phone"
I gave him my number and smiled.
"Ok so what do can we do until they separate their lips?" I asked.
"We can have our own make" he started.
"Let me cut you off right there" I smiled at him and took a seat on the floor.
