Chapter 24

I woke up by my phone ringing.
"What do you want" I asked grumpy not caring to look at the caller ID.
"Oh I'm sorry I"
As soon as I heard him my voice softened.
"Oh hey Blake sorry I just woke up"
"Alexis it's 11 am I thought you were at lunch" he said.
I looked at the baby blue greenish clock on my wall and cursed under my breath.
"Well I'm not going to school today sorry for talking so much why did you call?" I asked after catching some air.
"Because it's my last day in Cali and I wanted to spend it with my friend"
"I have an idea why don't we have a sleepover at my place.
My family isn't here but they left me some money and I could use it to buy snacks" I suggested
"I'll come over right now and I have to tell you something really important"
"Ok I'll get ready"
I hung up and walked into the bathroom.
After showering I looked for clothes to wear I tied my hair to a messy bun.
Noticing that my phone went off i saw a missed call from Brent.
Instantly I called him back knowing that he's probably worried.
"Yes?"
"Alexis where are you?"
"At home you?"
"You're At home? Why aren't you here"
I zoned out of the conversation and looked out of the kitchen window seeing a familiar Range rover.
The corner of my lips raised and I looked at the tall figure in front of me.
"So should I bring my notes?"
Brent voice snapped me back into reality.
"Yeah whatever bring them the door is open bye"
I opened the door hugging Blake.
"Hey"
"Hi enter we still have to go grocery shopping is it ok?" I asked
He nodded and walked into the living room.
"Do you want to go to the store first or watch a movie?" I asked.
"Let's uhm go to the store"
I could help but notice that he was distracted and uncomfortable.
Not wanting to make him feel more uncomfortable I shaked it off.
"Then let's go"

I took a basket and filled it with different types of snacks including pop tarts,Pringles,cereal,Reeses and many more.
We walked to the cashier to pay for all we bought.
I was about to hand her the money as Blake gave her money.
"You didn't have to pay Blake"
" It's no biggie" he smiled
I thanked him and we drove back to my place.
At my house we sat on the floor talking for a bit.
"Well I told that I had something important to tell you.
Ariel and I kinda broke up" he stated letting a tear slip down his cheek.
Seeing boys cry is one of my weaknesses.
They always act strong and all but crying shows that we have emotions and are humans.
"I'm so sorry" I cried.
It is awkward that I cried but i always cry when I see people that mean something to me in pains.
"Why are you crying?" he smiled.
"Because you're sad" I looked down at the carpet that was a bit wet from my salty tears.
"Look at me" he demanded.
I looked up and got lost in those blue greenish eyes.
He leaned in and I felt myself doing the same.
Our lips touched and I felt a bit shocked by my own actions.
This isn't good I'm just playing with his feelings.
He's hurt and I'm using this opportunity for my selfish cravings.
I pulled back and looked at him.
"This isn't good Blake you're hurt that's why you're doing this" I sighted.
"No I mean yes I'm hurt but I've been wanting to do this for such a long time now" he smiled.
Before I could respond he smashed his lips back on mine and I kissed him back.
He deepend the kiss by pulling me closer to him.
My hands traveled up to his neck and then to his hair.
Between the kiss I could feel him smile and I did too.
"Sorry to interrupt but here are my notes Alexis" a voice spoke up.
I pulled back and faced Brent who was standing with his arms crossed in the living room.
"Oh hey Brent" I said out of breath.
"Yeah hey I'm leaving" he left and slammed the door.
"Didn't know that you're such a good kisser" Blake spoke.
"Uh huh" I plopped down to the couch.
"Would you mind if I invited my friends to our slumber party? "
"No not at all" he said feeling disappointed.
At that moment I didn't care I felt uncomfortably sitting here next to him.
So I called everyone including Brent.
They all said they would be here in ten minutes.
"Blake please set everything while I call pizza hut"
He nodded and walked into the kitchen while I called pizza hut and ordered a huge pizza.
Minutes later the pizza and and everyone except Brent arrived.

Currently we've finished eating our pizza with out Brent.
"Let's play truth or dare" Caleb suggested.
I heard the doorbell and stood up.
Hoping it was Brent I made my way to the front door.
Opening it I saw Brent but not alone but with his so called girlfriend.
"Ewww" I screamed.
Blake walked up to me wondering what was going on.
"No pig's allowed here" I smiled.
"Haha funny Brent she's being really mean to me tell her something" she demanded sounding like an way too high pitched Barbie doll.
"Alexis she's entering if not then I won't either"
I rolled my eyes and let them in.
"Brent man what's up we're playing truth or dare join us" Caleb said.

So Blariel is over for now and I have no words.
Blake is such a pain and so am I because I care about him.
So let's take a moment of silence.
