Months Later...

Grace made sure the table was set and the food was ready to be eaten. She went outside and sat in one of the two chairs that were accompanying the small little table on her front porch. Grace waited patiently for her guest to arrive as she looked out into the forest. The forest was quiet besides the wind rustling through the trees' branches and the sounds of the animals that lived in there. Grace couldn't have felt more excited to meet her guest although she wasn't prepared to wait longer than she thought.

An hour passed and Grace's visitor still hadn't arrived. She was late again. Grace put her book down that she was reading and let out a frustrated huff. She got up from her chair and went to head inside. She threw one more glance back at the forest but gasped at the sight. There. Stood. Her guest. Y/N.

Grace couldn't help but scream for joy as she threw her arms around the girl in a strong unbreakable embrace. Y/N rolled her eyes but hugged back. "You're late. Again." Grace mumbled with a smile. Y/N chuckled and broke the embrace. "I apologize. He wouldn't let me go." She said smiling back. "He'll never let you go." Grace replied. Y/N sighed and dipped her head but nodded. "But that's the thing about men. They never change." Grace said with a smirk. Y/N nodded in response. "Well, a hot chocolate for you dear?" Grace asked. At the word of "Hot Chocolate" Y/N's eyes widened and she bounced up and down excitedly like a dog who's about to receive a treat. "Oh yes please!" She beamed. "Take a seat." Grace gestured to the seat across from her own and Y/N did as told.

When Grace returned with the hot chocolate for Y/N and a coffee for herself, she gave Y/N her drink and sat down in her seat. Y/N of course didn't waste a second and took a big sip of her drink. "So, where's that Jeff of yours?" She asked taking a sip of her coffee. "He told me he was going out to sort some of his problems with his so called 'friends' of his." Y/N answered with a shrug. "Does he still have those insane moments?" Grace asked. "From time to time, but I can handle it. Trust me." She said calmly. "Good." There were a few moments of comfortable silence before Y/N asked: "How's work going?" Grace shrugged. "Same as usual. Although I'm more concerned about you and Jeff." "Me and Jeff. Well, we're spending lots of time together. Too much in my opinion. I've been suggesting we'll have a break or something and out of all things he would agree to! He agreed!"

"So you and Jeff are taking a break?" Grace asked cocking a brow.

"Yes. For a whole summer. So I'll be able to spend time with you."

"That's good."

"Although he's been blabbering about wanting me to marry him and all that shit!"

"Haha! Really?!"

"Yes!" Y/N laughing. "Ahh, what's a world without males, right darling?" Grace chuckled putting her finished coffee on the table. "Right, Grace." Y/N agreed. They both stared out into the woods. Grace looked over at her niece and saw that Y/N's head was lowered and tears started to run down her face. "What's wrong, hon?" She asked in a sweet tone. Y/N sniffed and looked over at her auntie who held a supportive caring smile. Y/N always loved that smile. It always warmed her.

"What would my parents think of me being with a killer. My mother especially, she was murdered by Jeff." She asked with teary eyes. Grace looked down for a moment before looking back up at her and placing a loving hand on her shoulder. "She wouldn't care. She would only care about you being happy and having a happy life with the one you love. Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy." She said with a smile and tears starting to blur her vision. Y/N started to crack a small smile and hugged her auntie.

"I will. For Her. For my Father. For my friends. For. Me." She whispered.

The sun started to set. On her way back from her auntie Grace's, she couldn't help but rethink over the words her auntie told her. "Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes you happy." Y/N really wanted her mother's and father's advice right now. But sadly, that would be impossible. As night approached, the temperature started to drop as well. As Y/N arrived at the cabin, the lights were out just as she had left it. Jeff wasn't home yet. She looked down at her old watch. 6:49. Jeff said he'd be home by 6 but he isn't. Jeff would always have the lights on when he was home but he wasn't home. Y/N realized there was only one place he would be.

Y/N raced through the army of trees, she knew where Jeff was. It was so obvious. The last piece of the sun guided her through the woods and in minutes, she arrived at her destination. At the edge of the woods. The cliff that was only 100 feet above the river that lead towards the ocean. There, standing and watching the sunset was Jeff. He still wore his dress pants, converse and famous white hoodie. But his hoodie was clean and the blood had been washed and cleaned away. Meaning, he was no longer a murderer. Jeff's arms at his sides as he stared at the sunset. His eyes no longer blinking and his mouth forever ruined and carved into a smile. He already had a reason to smile and that was just seeing Y/N. He wanted his mouth to be normal again, like he had never done it. Y/N suggested stitches but he refused. His eyes able to blink again. So he could close his eyes and picture himself with his family again or living a normal life with Y/N. But no. What is done is done. He'll stay looking like a monster.

Y/N approached his side and embraced him. Jeff's eyes darted down to look at her. He wrapped his arm around her as he felt her shiver against the cold. Jeff and Y/N watched as the sunset disappeared behind the hills in silence until: "You said you would be home at 6." Jeff didn't answer Y/N. "Jeff?" Y/N asked. "Yeah?" His throat dry and itchy from weeping he had done once. "Are you okay?" Jeff exhaled. "Y/N. How could an angel, like you. Love. A demon like me?" He asked sounding like he would break down into tears in any moment. Y/N looked up at him, she smiled at him and caressed his scarred cheek. "You aren't a monster, Jeff. Never say that. You're an angel in disguise. I also heard that angels make the perfect match." She whispered. An angel in disguise Jeff thought.

"How are you so sure?" He found himself asking. "Because," She said pressing her forehead to his. "I know these things." She whispered with smile. She pressed her lips to his in a loving kiss, hoping he would kiss back. Surprisingly, he did. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close. They suddenly faced each other, Y/N wrapped her arms around his now warm neck as they continued to kiss. Their lips moved in sync, Jeff's playfulness returned when he pinched her ass once or twice making her gasp and giving him the opportunity to slip his tongue into her cavern. He explored it; claiming it as his. Y/N tangled her fingers in his long raven hair and than they finally broke away to breathe.

"Y/N. My heart used to have no beat at all." Jeff breathed looking into her eyes.

"Now, that you're mine, my heart beats for you. Only you."

"I have your heart," He said putting a hand over her beating heart then he grabbed one of her hands and put it on his now beating heart.

"And you have mine." He said with an insane smile.
