Over time you heal, but if there was no time I wouldn't need to.

Time does change everything and not always for the better or the best.

It's true, time changes everything,

What we had was gone over that time,

We didn't see each other,

We couldn't,

I know you can't be mine,

You won't ever be mine,

Yet I still want you,

Still need you by my side,

Helping me get through,

Someone to talk to,

I want to stop all this,

But I can't,

I miss you more than I ever thought I could,

More than I thought it was possible,

It hurst,

More than I thought it would,

Thing is it still hurts,

After this long,

I should have moved on,

But I don't seem to be able to,

I've tried and I hated it,

I can't get you out of my head either,

My mind,

It's like you've been imprinted there in permanent marker,

Forever there,

Why can't you pine?

You hurt?

It's not fair,

Nothing eer is,

But why me?

Time's meant to heal things too but with time the pain only seems to get worse,

The pining stronger,

The needing you,

The wanting you more than ever before,

Please come back,

Give me a second look,

A second glance,

Instead of forgetting me like it seems,

I've gone crazy because of you,

Try to understand,

I wasn't enough for you I don't think,

I'm accepting that,

Trying to anyway,

You needed more,

Wanted more,

When all I ever needed,

Wanted,

Missed,

Cried over,

Hurt because of,

Was you.
