two days; there wasn't much I could do besides wait for Josh's arrival. I had already cleaned the house, more than once, til it was practically shining. mom and I already stocked up on groceries. I made sure I worked enough hours to have a good amount of money. everything was perfect.

Josh told me that he could stay for a maximum of two weeks, for that's the longest his job allows for paid vacation. he told me that he was extremely impatient for the meet up, much like me.

I told him about my family situation, and he was respectfully glad my father had left as well. I had let him talk to Lucy over the phone a couple times, and my heart melted at how well he was with kids.

I'm still not sure what Josh is planning on telling me when he arrives, but by the way he put it, it must be important. hopefully not too important.
