I pulled up to the house the party was at, I never wanted to see that wretched place again after what had happened. The house seemed to be shaking the music was so loud, I was surprised the cops hadn't shown up and shut the party down. That was probably about to happen any second.

I saw Nathan on the old beaten up side walk by the house. Weeds were growing through the cracks in the cement and Nathan, seeming bored, stomped on them. I pulled up by him and stuck my head out the window.

"Hey man." I said emotionless but with a slight grin on my face.

"Let's go, before Jamal uses your face as a punching bag again Ray!" Laughed Nathan.

"F--- you Nathan," I couldn't help but laugh with him though, he always had a way of making me laugh even in the most messed up situations. "Did you get it?"

Nathan held up a small bag with white powder inside, "Only the best for you baby!" Nathan stuffed it in his pocket, hopping in the passenger side and I drove off, away from that house, that memory.

Nathan was like my mother, best friend and brother. We had only known each other through high school but we were close. Some people even thought we were gay because we spent so much time together and played around so much.

We didn't care though, we both were comfortable with our sexuality unlike most high school kids. I mean, I had a girlfriend, Jess (but I messed that up by sleeping with Kelsey a few hours ago. I couldn't continue in a relationship with her knowing I messed up THAT much) I mean I like Jess so much but she could never be happy with me. I always and forever will mess up.

"You're house or mine?" I asked Nathan "I mean, my parents are out of town for the weekend, but wherever you wanna go."

"Not my house." Nathan replied. "My family is there. My grandparents are visiting, so doing coke in front of them probably wouldn't be a good idea..."

"Oh yeah we couldn't just do coke in front of them, and not let them have any!" I laughed

"Their about to die Ray what the hell!"
Nathan still chuckled under his breath even though he knew it was a messed up joke. We knew each others sense of humor so we never could get offended by one another.

I pulled into my garage and closed the old rusty garage door. Me and Nathan walked into the dark, quite, empty house.

We passed the kitchen and living room then made our way upstairs into my room. I pulled a coffee table that was in the corner of my room to the center and plopped down. I rubbed my head reaching into my pocket pulling out a small crinkled bill, I then rolled the $1 bill into a "straw". No I wasn't all fancy with a $100 bill, as long as it got it me I didn't care what it went through.

I looked up at Nathan, watching him struggle to make the lines with the bag the snow came in. Snow, Coke, Cocaine whatever you want to call it.

"Yo," I laughed. "You want a razor?"

"Ugh, that would be helpful you head-ass."
Nathan shoved me playfully as I got up.

I pulled my dresser drawer open and grabbed one of my straight razors and handed it to him.

"There! Perfect lines." Sighed Nathan in accomplishment.

I handed him the now crisp, green, rolled dollar bill and told him to go first. He bent down his head then snorted a full line of the beautiful white powder.
"HOLY MOTHER F-!" Cursed Nathan rubbing his nose as his eyes rolled in the back of his head. "Here, you go Ray."

I thanked him then did the same, except a few minutes later did another line of it. Cocaine is amazing, it's almost like a stoned feeling but without the cloudy mind part. All of your senses are heightened, and feel like you can damn well do anything. Your confidence levels go through the roof, which is honestly what I needed tonight.

I jumped up and ran over to my speakers to plugged in my phone to the aux cord. "What do you wanna listen to?"

"Whatever you want." Laughed Nathan

"All right!" I replied, I ended up blasting some 90s rock (Like Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers) We talked well more like yelled, sang and jammed out for hours until we couldn't even stand anymore. We both ended up lying on my bed staring at the ceiling with out hearts pumping out of our chests but none of us wanting to move a muscle but at the same time felt like we could still run a marathon.

"What should I tell Jess, about me sleeping with Kelsey?" I asked Nathan as sweat poured down my beaten and battered face.

"Just be straight up with her." He turned on his side and looked at me. "Tell her what you did, and if you want to, break it off. It's better to hear it from your significant other than from a random ass person at school."

"Well, I have to break it off with her. Right? Who'd want to be with me." I sighed "I cheated on her with another girl who I knew was in a relationship and so I ruined two relationships!"

"Dude, we both know Jamal and Kelsey wouldn't last that long. They've both slept with pretty much the entire school! Hah!" Nathan just started to laugh hysterically and I couldn't help but join in.

"I love you man." I said under my breath once the laughing wore off. I turned to my side, now both of us facing each other.

"You too bro." Nathan laughed nudging my shoulder.
