"Back to the Jolly Roger, men!" Stache shouted. "Take this, insufferable girl, with you." He shoved the girl to a pirate. James and the boys whimpered, locking eyes with Mara, as she was being dragged to the pirate ship.

"IT'S ALRIGHT BOYS! I'LL FIND YOU! DON'T WORRY!" Mara yelled, watching helplessly as tears threatened to escape her eyes. James let his flow. They were all helpless. Mara couldn't get to the boys in that moment, and the boys could do nothing to help Mara.

"What about the prisoners?" A short pirate with a round potbelly asked.

"Take the giant. The woman too." Stache yelled. "Take Mr. Slank, too."

Mara watched as the boys begged to be taken aboard the ship. She smiled, a tear slipping out of her eye, at their attempt to stay with her. The ships disconnected, separating Mara and the boys.

Stache stalked over to Mara. "You're gonna tell me, what is in that box."

"No." Mara spit in the pirates face. Stache roared, smacking her across her face.

"Take her to my cabin, for now, Smee." Stache shoved the girl to the pot bellied man.

"Yes, cap'n" Smee grabbed her by the elbow and gently lead her towards the cabin.

Mara stayed there until Stache dragged her out, tossing her to Smee.

"Tie the brat up." Stache sneered. Smee bound her hands in front of her, not too tightly though, leaving some rope to pull he forward.

The longboat had been pulled onto land, and Mara had been dragged out of the boat and shoved into the sand in a completely undignified way. "Here they are. Smee! What do you make of this?" Stache asked.

"Footprints," Smee replied.

"I know they're footprints. What's between the footprints?" Stache growled.

"Something's been dragged." Smee squinted.

"Very good, Mr. Smee. And how much does this thing weigh?" Stache snarled.

"Heavy." Smee said.

"Yes, heavy. Heavy like a trunk." Stache smiled.

"A trunk!" Smee paused. "Say, cap'n, wasn't you looking for a trunk?" Smee asked.

Mara winced as Stache started yelling at Smee. When he had finally somewhat calmed down, he turned to his crew and said, "Looks like we'll be taking a walk through the jungle, men."

"It looks mighty think, don't it, cap'n? Could be all manner of snakes in there, waitin' to chomp on our legs." A pirate said, shivering at the thought of snakes.

"An excellent point, that's why you shall go first." Stache snarled.

Stache looked back to the footprints. "How many do you figure?"

A pirate looked at the footprints, and not being able to tell how many, simply told him that they were children.

Stache went on a rampage, yelling that he had to kill Peter. Before marching into the jungle, tugging Mara behind him.

Smee and Stache, who was still tugging Mara behind him, struggled to the top of a ridge. Hook held up his hand, and Smee reached out and shook his hand.

"I DON'T WANT YOUR BLEEDIN' HAND, YOU IDJIT! I WANT THE BLEEDIN' SPYGLASS!' Stache bellowed, startling a bird into flight.

Sme quickly handing Stache the spyglass and waited patiently. "Ah ha!" Stache said gleefully.

"Gesundheit." Mara and Smee said together.

"No, you fool, look there! At the edge of the clearing. D'you see it?" Stache asked, looking into the spyglass. Smee peared down. "It's a camp," Stache continued.

"A camp?" Smee asked.

"Savages," Stache grimaced.

"Savages? The kind that, that..." Smee asked.

"That eat people, yes." Stache put the spyglass down.

Smme told Stache that they would turn the ship around right away, but Stache had other ideas. He wanted the boys. The boys from the Never Land.

Mara perked up after hearing that the boys were ok. Stache ordered his men to go down there, "quite-like," and see what's going on.

There was no way that Mara was going to let any of those pirates hurt the boys.

Everyone was hidden in the bushes, outside the 'savages' wall, when Smee, Stache and Mara saw at the same time. It was Molly! Molly was flying over the compound wall.

Before Molly flew back over the wall, a crocodile flew over the wall, and away from the compound. The pirates were shaking in their boots.

Stache started his long and annoying pep talk. "All right then. Grab your swords and..." The men were awestruck, Mara was laughing, loudly, and Stache whirled around, watching as cursed, watching as the boys, who were holding hands, rose over the wall and out of sight.

Stache was leading his small group of pirates, and Mara, who was being pulled forward, in the general direction of where the boys and Molly had flown off in.

Smee jumped at every sound that he heard. "Cap'n, what if that humongous flying lizard landed somewhere ahead, here?

"Weren't no lizard, that was a croc." Stache scowled.

"Whatever it was, cap'n, it might be up ahead here. Maybe we should..." Smee stopped as Stache turned sneering.

"Maybe we should what, Smee?"

"W-well, cap'n, with... with that thing flying around here, and those children, them flying too, it's just all so strange on this island, cap'n, and it bein' night and all, I thought, that is, we thought, that is, me and the men here, we thought maybe if we waited 'till daylight, we could..." Smee trailed off.

"You thought? You thought?" Stache glared at Smee, then at his men.

"Y-yes. I, that is, we..." Smee stammered.

"YOU DON'T THINK!" Stache bellowed.

"Aye, cap'n." The pirates chorused.

"Good." Stache grounded his teeth together.

He turned and started ordering two pirates to go scouting. While his back was turned, Mara slipped her hands out of the ropes, and crept away through the forest.

She stumbled several times, tired from walking, and loss of sleep, not to mention that she was covered in bruises. She made he way out of the forest, only to see a mermaid laying face down in the sand.

Mara turned the mermaid over onto her back. Her eyes were large and green. Her blonde hair was slightly damp, and blood was seeping from a gash in her forehead.

Mara yanked the locket from her neck and opened it. Light flooded the area. She poured starstuff onto the wound. She watched as the wound closed, leaving no trace.

"It's alright now." Mara smiled, then collapsed onto the sand, next to the blonde mermaid.
