Elliot's pov
Well ladies and gentleman today is the day of the dreadful ball. I know for sure it will probably be boring. I'm just going for Jackie since she insisted and wouldn't stop bugging me.
Martha Jackie's mom won't be attending seeing as she has to finish up a case. Micah's family won't be attending either. They said it wasn't their scene.
Here i am eating cocoa puffs which i love, when Jackie comes to the kitchen and gives me the look she always gives me when I'm eating breakfast at 3pm.
"Seriously? We have to get ready at 5pm Elliot and you're eating!" she says
"Chill J, I'll shower and shave after I'm done here. We won't be late the ball starts at 7 pm anyway." i tell her
She just nods and gets an apple before sitting down.
"I'm just stressed out" she tells me honestly
"Why? What's wrong?" i ask
"Mom can't pay the rest of the money she needed to pay in order to keep this house." she replies
"How much is it?" i ask
"About 9 thousand, it's just that her job is not paying enough anymore." she sighs
"I have money saved up. We can go pay it so all she has to worry about is the bills and food not the house" i state
"Elliot I'm not going to let you do that." she says
"But i want too. You guys have done a lot for me at least let me pay the rest" i state
She just nods and gets up says " it's three thirty already hurry up" and walks back to her room making me laugh.
-3 hours later and hair pulls later-
"Stay still Elliot! I don't want to hurt you more"
"Ow! My hair Jackie! Fucking hell woman do you want to leave me bald" i scream
"Well if you just stay still maybe it won't hurt" she sasses back
"Ladies relax beauty is pain" Seth says
"Shut up Seth!" Jackie and i say at the same time
"There done now hurry and put on the dress!" Jackie screams at me.
For the ball I'll be wearing a white dress with my hair up and my make up somewhat natural with red lipstick and white heels.
