Elliot's pov
Today is the day. The day most girls get up early and spend hours getting ready. The day guys get to dance and hang out with their dates. The day that most people start the count down to graduation.
"Elliot?" Miguel calls from outside my door.
"Come on in" I tell him
He steps inside and looks nervous. I frown.
"What's up?" I ask him
"I need your blessing" he says
"What for?" I ask him confused as hell
"Jackie's hand, after graduation i want to propose" he tells me.
I smile at how he is. Jackie sure can pick them.
"Honey, you don't need to ask me, you already have my blessing. You make her happy as does she make you happy." I smile at him before kicking him out while laughing
"Now go, I need to change" I tell him and he just laughs but closes the door after he leaves.
I sigh before stripping out of my pjs and putting on my dress. This years prom theme is The Great Gatsby
