The night after the ball, after Micah and I went for ice cream and after I did my best to say goodbye to Micah again, I went home to drink my pain away.

I didn't even bother changing, i just sat down on the floor of ny room and drank.

-Flashback-

"Mom, what's a soul mate?" 14 year old Elliot asks

"A soulmate is like a best friend but more. It's someone who makes you want to be a better person for yourself. A soulmate is someone who you will always carry with you forever and never get tired of loving them." she replied with a small smile

"Do you think I'll find my soulmate?" 14 year old me asks

"You will, and when you do, it will be amazing and extraordinary." mom says

"Maybe you may fall in love again mom." i look at her and smile

-flashback over-

"Elliot?" Jackie calls out from outside my door

I don't bother replying and just drink some more. I hear my room door opening and closing, then feel someone sit down next to me. That someone being Jackie.

"Oh, Elliot let it all out" She says as she puts my head on her lap and plays with my hair. We stay like this for a couple of minutes, me crying and Jackie being here for me.

"Come on, let's get you too bed" she says. While she helps me up Martha comes in and sits down next to me once i am in bed.

"For the morning, because you might have a hangover" Martha puts some advil and a water bottle on the stand, before kissing my forehead and leaving.

"Get some sleep, you need it" Jackie tells me as she gets in bed next to me.

I nod and close my eyes not a bit later everything goes black.

"Baby, come on get up"

"Nate, it's to early" i tell my boyfriend

I feel him kissing my lips make me get up and kiss back. We pull away

"Elliot, i love you." Nate tells me

I smile and tell him " i love you too."

"Hey, princesa, look whatever happens today, if anything bad happens, you run to saftey okay." Nate tells me

"Nate, i am not just going to leave you" i tell him

"No baby listen, i don't want you to get hurt okay." he says

I get off his lap and just nod before going to do my daily routine. I don't even make it half way before people come in knocking down the door, Nate screaming at me to run and then feeling something hit my head and everything goes black.
