"We come with gifts!" Jackie screams as she enters my office
I look at her and notice her belly getting bigger. Within the year of graduation and me opening up my own business things have been great. Jackie and Miguel married three months ago and now Jackie is carrying a child inside of her. Seth and August keep in touch and will be coming soon.
"Did you really have to buy the whole store." Miguel says as he comes in with two bags full of presents.
I laugh at this and look at Jackie who just laughs too
"Yes, the whole family will be here" she tells him before turning to me
"How are things" she says as she brings me in for a short hug and pulling away
"They are fine. Elijah and the others are happy and I am too" i tell her
"What about you and the little one?" I ask
"Well I'm going to pop in a few months but the hunger is killing me. I have been craving ice cream" she says as she sits down next to Miguel. I smile before heading over to my conference room where I have a mini fridge. I take out the pint of chocolate ice cream and a spoon before heading back and giving it to Jackie.
"This is why I love you baby" sje smiles at me as she eats
Miguel and I laugh just as Seth and August barge in.
"Honey, I am home!" he runs and tackles me in a hug making me laugh again
"Love you too" I tell him as he lets go.
"We have a surprise for you, it's waiting back at your house" August tells me
"Then let's head over" I tell them as we walk out. I gave my employees the day off, seeing as it is Christmas eve. We head out to our cars and drive off to my house. It's a mansion but I only bought it because of my family. Family as in Seth and everyone else.
"Damn girl, and I thought I was rich" Miguel comments
"Lets go in" we all head inside and take of our coats.
"Your surprise is in the kitchen" Seth says as I go in the kitchen only to be tackled in another hug.
Old spice. I'll never forget that smell. I smile as I hug back before letting go
"It's good to see you Elliot" he said
"It's good to see you too Micah"
