Leah felt herself wake up on a soft surface and almost panicked when she realized she wasn't under water, then the memories from the past 24 hours hit her like a bag of bricks and she let herself cry out the sadness and love she felt for leaving her home and entering a new one all in the same day. In her crying she didn't hear her new parents enter her room. "Goldfish what's wrong?" Harley said worried for her darling. "I'm sorry! I'm just happy and I miss home too!" "Of starfish you don't have to be sorry!" J said to Leah pulling in his two girls in his arms where they shared a morning snuggle. Leah looked in the mirror and shrieked at her appearance. "Look at my hair!" She cried out, "Oh, it's so beautiful goldfish!" Harley exclaimed with delight and began to brush through it and play with it. J watched his two favorite girls in the world share a moment of joy before asking why his starfish missed home. Leah replied "I really miss the fish I'd see when I woke up in the morning, I miss searching for human things! I even miss the annoying fair music the pier would play when the fair opened in the morning!" "Oh, goldfish! We can fix all of those things!" Harley reassured her darling before looking at J mouthing "fix this" J nodded and spoke softly to his baby, "Don't worry my little mermaid, we can fix all of this." Later that day J had brought in a tape of the fair music and put it in a radio of Leah to play when she liked and brought her everything she was curious about, such as books, a tv remote, a pen, an ice cube (she was disappointed when it melted) and Harley's slippers. She wanted a pair just like hers even though she couldn't wear them. And later that day she got them. She was thrilled with her new findings and loved them to no end. She fancied a swim so she asked Johnny where she could go to have one and he wheeled her down a hall way before asking "inside or outside?" She looked up at him in confusion before he spoke again, "would you like to see both?" Leah nodded in reply and he took at left to the inside pool first

She looked in amazement before asking if she could see the outside pool. Frost wheeled her down the other side of the hall way before opening a glass door to the outside pool.

"This one!" She said as she was excited to feel the water around her again. Frost picked her up and placed her on the side of the pool before sitting down to watch her swim. When she resurfaced he attempted to make conversation by asking her about how living in the Lamborghini was like. "It was nice," she replied "lots of space to put things and i loved to open the doors and swim in and out of it! It was so shiny and such a beautiful color that I knew when I saw it that it would be my home!" Her and frost talked for a while mostly it was frost telling Leah things about J and Harley and the human world. Leah asked where J and Harley got their clothes from and Frost told her the mall. "What is that!?" And Frost discovered the typical teenage girl within the mermaid. And now Leah had a determination to get to the mall.
