Hearts Are Glass - Poem 1

Hearts are glass-

When one's breaks,

You should not touch it.

Or try to fix it.

For if you make contact with it,-

You could hurt your own in the process.

Just like if you touch broken glass.

And when a heart is understood-

You can see right through it, it is translucent.

Therefore, you should never

Take advantage of it.

Hearts can be beautiful,

But they can also be dangerous.

They can be strong,

When no pressure is applied-

But they can be so fragile

That they just shatter.
