She Doesn't - Poem 17

She doesn't put her seat belt on.

She doesn't look both ways before crossing the street.

She doesn't wake with relief.

She doesn't kick her feet on the deep end of the pool.

She doesn't feel hungry anymore.

She doesn't hate everyone.

She doesn't love everyone.

She doesn't have any reason to even leave her house.

She doesn't express the feelings she has.

She doesn't trust anyone.

She doesn't believe anyone.

She doesn't listen to your advise anymore.

She doesn't feel that she can help.

She doesn't feel she has a purpose.

She doesn't have the stomach to take her own life, though.

She doesn't try to protect her own life, either.

She doesn't prevent the death she wishes would come.
