Look at the emptiness in his grey eyes,

They seem to have lost all the old light, life.

He has lost sight of all his pride and prize,

He said that his heart was stabbed with a knife.

Everyone knew what she had done to him.

She smiled at him, he smiled back, feeling true.

For heaven's sake, why did she, God forbid.

She made him feel as if he could have flew.

When she left him, he felt like he had died.

Someone tied a noose and gave him a push.

The world he loved and the real one, collide.

She hid, ready to strike him, in her bush.

He said that it felt like he had met death,

But really he just took in a fresh breath.
