Mary noticed that Joker had drifted off the sleep. She slid out of his grasp and tiptoed out of his room. She proceeded to the parlor to retrieve her phone.

She noticed a text from Oswald. "Hello Miss Parker. I have emailed you with the wiring instructions for the transaction. You are to meet with them at The Smile and Grin at 8pm tommorow. As soon as your recive the suitcase, bring it to me as soon as possible. I will have the chopper on stand by for the next drop off. P.S. I will be sending you a Christmas gift soon dearest friend. I hope you enjoy."

Mary smiled as she texted back. "Dearest Oswald. It was such a pleasure seeing you again. I can't express my gratitude enough for the kindness that you have bestowed upon me. I shall never forget it.  I will inform Mr. J. of the plan and will contact you for any further instructions.    P. S. Please call me Mary."

Mary's phone immediately responded, "Yes, dearest Mary."

Mary headed to her room and slipped into comfortable lounge clothing

Mary headed to her room and slipped into comfortable lounge clothing. She was laying on her stomach with her feet in the air as she glanced at her laptop. She was looking on the Gotham Underground, a black market Craig's list for the city. Mary clicked on the entertainment tab under the employment section. She looked through the list of girls for the Smile and Grin. After she had sent out a few interview e-mails, Mary noticed the bid tab. Out of curiosity she clicked on it. There were multiple job bids for hitman to construction. Mary clicked on shipping accountant. The bid read as follows.

"Company seeks an individual with expert knowledge of trade embargo laws and loopholes. Cargo calculations are a plus. Submit all bids to contact at

"Rightupmainst@gotham.net"

Mary relized that Joker was standing in her doorway as he spoke, "Whatcha doing kitten?"

Mary looked over her shoulder to him. "Making plans for tommorow night. Oswald sent me wiring instructions. "

She looked back to her computer as he slid beside her. "It's after hours Pumpkin, you already had a hard enough day."

Mary smirked as he pecked her in the check and ran his fingers through her long hair. Mary tried to stay focused, " I don't want any surprises tommorow. I don't like what Oswald said about the sellers." Joker quietly continued to play with her hair. " I think I found some girls for the Smile and Grin." Joker was leaning in to nibble on her neck. "What are these bid jobs?"

Joker stopped and looked at the screen. "That's where people like me get our start."

"Oh.." Mary slowly looked back to the screen. "Can I do this one?" She pointed to the bid listing.

Joker leaned in closer to the screen and silently read the bid. He sighed, "Why?"

Mary shrugged. "I think I can do it.."

Joker rolled over to his back and looked at the ceiling. "Your asking for trouble.." Other criminals bid for those jobs." Joker turned his face back to Mary.  "If you really want it baby.. I'll watch over you, but I get 40%."

Mary'mouth dropped open, "Uh!! 10%"

Joker smirked, "30.."

"Twenty.. And I'll ..?"

Joker leaned toward her as she thought about the stipulation. He looked like a viper about to strike his prey. "You'll..?"

Mary giggled as turned on her back, "I'll give you a kiss."

Joker slipped on top of her. He grinned as she wrapped her arms around his neck, "Where..?"

Mary blushed and shook her head. "Your impossible Mr. J."

Joker stroked the side of her face as he stared at her lips. "When we're alone.. I want you to call me by my real name." Mary's expression became serious as she nodded. Joker traced the line of her lips, "Jack.. Jack is my name." He turned his beautiful eyes up to hers. Mary was smiling as she leaned up and kissed him. Joker kissed her back as he squeezed her. Their kiss turned into a hug as they laid together in silence.

A few moments later Joker felt his phone buzz. "I have to take this call." He rolled off of the bed on to his feet and walked to his office.

Mary  turned back to her computer and e-mailed the bid company. She quickly heard a e-mail notification.  It was a reply from the bid company. The email contained a description of the cargo, and the quantity . This was a test to see if she was capable of the task.  Mary smiled as she explained her  "Free Carrier Baises" plan. Her plan consisted of shipping empty shells to Germany customs, then to China to be filled quicker and at lower cost. China would then ship the new ammo to South Africa for storage and cheaper shipping later. Mary did her calculations and submitted her price.  Her conscience kicked in, "what the hell are you doing? Arms dealer?" Mary argued with her other voice, "This isn't going to last forever.. He probably will tire of us and throw us out on the street. If we have our own money and contacts.." Her conscience interrupted, "And who's fault would that be?" Mary sighed as she pushed the voice back.
