Mary's bright side finally kicked in. "You need to ditch your cell phone and the car. He's tracking you." Mary pulled over to the curb and left the keys in ignition and her cell phone in the seat. She started to walk downtown on the busy street towards the subway.

Joker was following her on his GPS;  he noticed his lovely wife vehicle had stopped, "What are you doing little girl?" He looked ahead and noticed the abandoned car, Joker quickly looked in and noticed Mary's  phone. He speed dialed Frost, "She bailed. I need you to come get the car. She'll come home eventually."

Before he could hang up Frost interrupted. "Boss.. You have to find her."

"Why?.."

Mary quickly walked down the busy street; she soon heard Jokers voice. He had pulled up beside her as she walked, "Mary.. Get in."

Mary looked at his car and chuckled, "You have a bat in your windshield. You look fucking ridiculous." She then faced forward and continued to walk. As Joker slammed on his brakes, Mary took off running. She made her way down the subway stairs, as she pushed through the crowd she noticed a vendor selling superman sweatshirts. "Give me your biggest size." Mary handed him a hundred, "Keep the change." She quickly threw it on and shoved her hair under the hood. Mary hung her head low as she walked with a large crowd that was waiting on the platform.

Joker ran down the subway stairs, he pushed through the crowd. "Fuck!" , he quietly thought. He stood on the platform as the train rolled up. He noticed he was getting a lot of frieghtened looks. He then noticed a pair of legs he recognized. He started to push through the crowd, he showed his evil grin as he got closer.

Mary was trying to control her breathing. She knew he had spotted her, "Think genius." As Joker got closer as the train approached Mary lunged off the platform and landed crouching on her feet.

"No!!!" Joker grabbed at the hoodie but was too late. Mary crossed to the other side and climed on a side ladder as other passengers helped her up. She turned around and smiled as she took her hood off. Joker let out a loud growl as he watched her head up the stairs to the street. When the doors of the train open he sprinted to the other side and looked down the street. He stood and thought to himself. Joker turned and ran back down the stairs. Just as the train doors were closing. He saw Mary on the train waiving goodbye. "She outsmarted me..! She fucking outsmarted me.!!", Joker thought to himself. When he finally reached the Smile and Grin, Frost was waiting outside with a blank look. Joker jumped from his car and approached him, "Let me see it!" Frost reached into his coat pocket and looked down at Mary's ultrasound. Joker snatched it from Frost hand, his chest heaved with anger. "Put a bounty out?"

"How much?"

Joker continued to look at the picture, "Two million. Alive and unharmed!"

Frost opened his phone and sent an unkown text, "Done."

Joker placed the pic in his coat pocket, as he did he noticed Mary's phone. He eagerly went through her recent text. "Who the fuck is Simon?!"

Frost cleared his throat, "Its the arms deal. Why?"

Joker snarled as he handed Frost the phone when he walked past him to the SUV.

Frost looked down at the last text message, "Are you ready to fuck?" Frost couldn't believe her response, "Where? ASAP!"

Frost got into the passanger seat and kept quiet. As the SUV pulled up to Simons office, Mary sat across the street in a rented Mercedes. She chuckled as she took out her notebook and crossed out Simons name at the top of her list. As Mary rubbed her lower abdomen, "One down. Five more to go."
