She left me [ COMPLETED ]

Chapter 2; Things will never be the same

Kenzie's POV:
We start to lower and we land. I grab my bag from under my seat and shove my earphones and computer in. As I put them in something falls out

It was a picture of me and Johnny when we won the partner hockey tournament in gym.

He looks at me and then looks to the ground. He bends down and picks up the picture. Instead of giving it back he sits back up and stares at the picture. I feel so embarrassed. My face turns super red. He turns to me and I put on a really nervous smile.

"This is My favorite picture" he says smiling as he admires the picture

"Me too..." I say shyly.

I put out my hand to grab the picture. As I go to grab it our hands touch and we look at each other.

We smile and I take the picture breaking this awkward moment. I shove it back into my bag and we sit there quiet.

The whole plane ride we actually talked and I missed talking to him but things will never be the same. As we landing things got awkward again

"Hey I had a lot of fun talking to you today" he says turning his body to me

"me too" I say standing up putting on my backpack

"Maybe we can hang out sometime, like old times?" He says holding out his hand as he stands up.

"Yea.." I say awkwardly. Old times? What does he mean by that??

I take his hand and he pulls me up. We then make our way though the plane and exit

We walk through the halls and we reach the exit where I see Maddie.

I run over to her "hey mads where's Mom?" I say adjusting my bag

"She's waiting in the car so lets get your bag and head out!" She says putting her arm around my shoulder.

I turn my head and see Johnny with his parents

We reach the luggage claim area. I stand their waiting for my bag when someone taps my shoulder.

"Hey did you find mine?" He says whispering in my ear. His breath tickles in my ear and my back shivers

I turn around and it's Johnny. I smile and laugh

"Nope I didn't even find mine yet" I say and he laughs.

Johnny's POV:

"Hey where's Lauren? Why isn't she here?" She asks me turning facing me.

The way her way flows when she spins and her beautiful brown eyes.

Maybe I made a mistake losing her. I have a girlfriend but I guess my feelings for Kenzie are back.

"Uh.. she actually came here a little early" I say looking for my suitcase

"Oh" Kenzie says turning around and grabbing her bag off

I could see she had trouble so I step on the side of her and put one hand on the handle and the other on the bottom of the suitcase. I lift it off and set it down. My hand is touching hers and we stood theirs starring at each other again.

"Johnny!" Someone says calling my name

They come up behind me and kiss my cheek.

Kenzie looks at me with those puppy eyes and lets go so our hands aren't touching anymore and looks to the ground.

I look at her the same and then the girl turns me around

"Hey Nadia" I say with a different voice then how I normally talk to her. For some reason it just felt weird

"I-I should go" Kenzie says as she pulls the handle on her suitcase and runs off to Maddie.

She wraps her arm around Maddie's shoulders and they walk

"I missed you" Nadia says hugging me

I very lightly wrap my hands around her waist and I watch as Kenzie leaves

She turns her head and I see a little tear fall down her cheek

I didn't even say "goodbye" to her! Who knows when I'll see her again

Maybe I really do still love her?
