Chapter Two- Shadow's Party

"Why are we hear Tails?"Shadow asked the yellow fox. They just arrived at the party hall.

"Oh um, I needed help with a few boxes and you where the first person I saw."Tails explained, looking a bit nervous.

Shadow just stared at him then asked,"Well are we going to get these boxes or not?"

"Oh right sorry Shadow just hold on I will go turn the lights on."

Tails went inside to get ready for the surprise, leaving Shadow outside by himself,"Why does Tails need my help?"Shadow asked himself,"Why couldn't he just ask Sonic?"

Then Shadow herd Tails call out,"Hey Shadow! Come on."

Shadow walked into a dark room, a little confused,"Hey Tails! Where are you?"

Just then the lights flicked on and everyone yelled out "SURPRISE!"

Shadow nearly jumped out of his air skates when everyone yell that out.

"Wow Shadow did we just scare you?" Silver asked.

"What no! I-I-I wasn't scared I was just, um, I was just practising my dodge skills." Shadow stuttered,"Besides you can't scare the Ultimate Lifeform."

"Yeah sure Shadow what ever you say."Sonic winked at him.

Shadow just rolled his eyes and crossed his arms,"Hump." was all he said.

Everyone laughed and started singing happe birthday,"Happy Birthday Shadow!" They all yelled in the end.

Shadow gave them a little smirk and quietly thanked them.

After the song Shadow finally got a good took at who was invited, the people that where there were, Sonic, Silver, Amy, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, Vector, Espio and Charmy.

"Hey Silver, where is Blaze?" Shadow wondered.

"Oh Blaze had to go to her dimention to save the Sol Emeralds."Silver stated,"But she told me to wish you a happy birthday."

Shadow nodded his head,"Ok well if you see her before I do, tell her I said thanks."

"Okay Shadow I will." Silver told him.

"So you went behind my back to pull a surprise party for me?" Shadow questioned.

"Oh ah well I hope you like it, but it was all Sonic's idea." Silver confirmed.

"Ok Silver, I appreciate that you didn't lie to me." Then Shadow went to find Sonic. 

"Hey Shadow, so do you like the party?" Sonic asked.

Shadow punched him and crossed his arms,"You lied to me Faker. You said there was no surprise."

"Yeah well you see Shadow that's the whole point about surprises, they need to be a surprise." Sonic told him matter-of-factly.

 "Yeah well," Shadow punched him again,"Nice plan."

"Wait who told you about the plan?" Sonic looked confused.

"Silver did, why?" Shadow was now also confused.

Sonic excused himself from Shadow and walked up to Silver,"So why did you tell him about my plan?"

"Oh,"silver looked surprised,"Well why not, it IS his party. And besides it WAS your plan from what I remember you telling me." Silver winked at the blue hedgehog.

Sonic was about to tell him off until the lights went out. Everyone screamed and there where some muffled cries comeing from the three hedgies.

Then when the light came back on Amy yelled,"Where's Sonic!"

"Shadow and Silver are missing too!" Tails added.

Everyone looked around but could not find them anywhere.

"Oh I hope they're ok." Cream pleaded.

"I do to Cream, We all do." Tails sighed,"where could they have gone?"
