Chapter 17 A new responsibility

Manik's pov

Damn....!!!!! I kicked the door with full force n hurt my leg in return...

She is such a stubborn soul.... how could she say me bhad mein jao.... This is not done.... And she thinks I'll listen to her....in your dreams....Miss Nandini Murthy😈 U won't talk to me na....fine even i won't...just go to hell😡😡

In the meantime all students and teachers were asked to assemble in the hall... I went straight there...

"Good morning everyone...Today I will introduce a new student of SPACE....Here she is " said Nyonika

And we all looked at the direction she was pointing....

"Miss Mukti Malhotra daughter of Mr. Rohan  Malhotra"

My jaw dropped hearing Mukku's name....

"Hello teachers n students ....myself Mukti... sister of Manik n Cabir Malhotra" she announced cutely

"Mukku tum...." I asked

"Yes bhai...kesa laga apko surprise"

"Awesome..." Cabir n I said together

Again Mrs Nyonika n Princi started saying something

"So students and teachers.... We are here to announce an important event of SPACE " told Nyonika

"Students n teachers this time SPACE has been given the opportunity to host the famous Indian concert named JHANKAR " added Princi

"So we have so much work to do.... We're hosting this music concert for the 1st time.... Top Indian colleges gonna perform...and yes we will leave no stone unturned in getting the best hosting Award.... other than that I want our college to win and for that the soul responsibility lies with the teachers..." exclaimed Nyonika

"Remember as we will host so we want our teachers to perform in the opening and closing ceremony.... And two teachers will be given the responsibility to teach the students" added Princi

"Wow.... Musical concert JHANKAR" Nandini n her group said in excitement

"Good...hann...i love these concerts... kyun Manik tujhe pasand hai ya...? Cabir asked cunningly

"What do you mean by pasand hai...of course I like the idea" I snarled at him

"Nahi woh teri pasand toh badal rahi hai na  so i asked u"

"Chup reh tu... bohot jyada bol rha h tu aajkal" I scolded him

"Ankit come here.. " called Princi

Looking at us Princi said  "So this boy Ankit(student) will pick up two names of teachers.... Whoever names are announced will perform the closing act and train the students as well"

Ankit goes n picks up two chits from the bowl....After he is done he is asked to go back...

And here every teacher was excited to know the names except me n Nandini cz we were busy in exchanging frowns  ... 😬

Princi- Well done...Ankit...good choice.... So the two names are.... (He was creating suspense like tv show hosts create while announcing the name of winners🙄) Yes so the two names are... any guesses..?

"Sir... kripya karke suspense na create karte huye aage ki ore badha jaye" commented Cabir😆

"Yes... yes so the two names are Mr Manik Malhotra and Miss Nandini Murthy"

"Whattttttt?" We both together let out a shriek in astonishment 😲

"No way I am not gonna perform with this girl" I declared

"Sir...even I am not interested to perform with Mr Manik Malhotra..." barked Nandini

"Hain....Ab in dono ko kya hua.😱.Kal raat tak toh sab thik tha " Cabir n Navya expressed in shock.. 😲

Alya- "No problem sir if Nandini doesn't want to perform with Manik... I will perform " (Nandini was hell pissed off listening to her....)

I was in a fix...and saw Dhruv moving forward to say something.... I was afraid what if he agreed to perform.. just then Nandini spoke

"Sir  Alya is just a PA...h..o...w...how...can she perform with Manik? "

(Alya started making  faces😏)

"Sir... I can perform with Nandini... We'll make a good pair" said that bloody Dhruv

My fear... came true... and I just blurted...

" No need.... Sir Dhruv doesn't need to perform... nor does Alya... I'll perform with Nandini"

"Manik...abhi abhi kaha tune..tu nhi perform krna chahta uske sath..."came the most obvious voice of Cabir

I just frowned at him n he was like finger on the lips

"Nandini...what do you want to say?" asked Princi

"Sir I am okay with it... After all we both are professionals and competitors too...so we won't allow our personal grudges to affect our professional commitments"

And i was shocked at her professional vs personal dialogue... Anyway...I was happy cz that Dhruv won't perform with her....huh...what did he say we ll make a good pair...my foot

"So it's decided....Manik n Nandini going to perform together...Now you both go n train your students" Princi declared

And we all left....

So the angry birds will perform together.... Will they be able to perform or it will lead to something else.... Let's wait n watch .... And guys i am getting very less comments.... If i don't get maximum comments I won't update the next part ...
