In the morning our journey began from Kalka to Kullu Manali...another exquisite place to visit...
We had started at 5 am in the morning...
Our SUV stopped near the famous shrine - Gauri Shankar temple at Manali...
"Yaar..subah subah utha diya and ab dekho kaha le aaye ...temple pe...kitni joro ki bhuk lagi hai yaar" Cabir lamented
"Cabir...Aesa nahi bolte...And we have to offer prayers..iske liye pehle kha lena isn't good..." lectured our cute Nandu
"I second you Nandini...but yeh Cabir ke bas ki baat nahi hai..." commented Dhruv
"Dhruv... you're highly mistaken...Cabir can do anything...and remaining hungry is not an issue at all..kyun Cabir?" I retorted 😏
"Manik maana tujhe nandini ko impress karna hai... but yaar ladki ko impress karne ke chakkar mein mujhe kyun bakra bana raha hai...."😒 Cabir whispered in my ears and then said aloud... "Haan..kyun Nahi Manik is always right.. don't worry i will wait until the pooja.." 🙄
"Okay guys chalo let's do the pooja" Nandini said with a cute smile
There she went with her frnds Navya and Dhruv...
Anyways I just hate this Dhruv.... 😑
After the Aarti Nandini came with the plate and everyone ran their hands over the flames...The Panditji was distributing the holy prasad but I saw Nandini going somewhere ...
I followed her...
I saw her moving around the shrine with her hands folded...
"Hey Nandini...What are you doing here...chalo let's go..."
"Manik ...this is called Pradakshina..."
"What..what dakshi... dakshina...?"
"Uffo Manik.. circumambulation... understood..."
"Ohh I see...Is it necessary..?"
"Of course it is"
Without thinking over a moment I also started circumambulating around the holy shrine... After all Nandini is a sanskaari ladki so what she does is right only I chuckled😎
"Oye hoye..lage raho Manik...Or haan hath bhi pakad lo nandu ka" Winked Mr Dil..
"Seriously...wow kya idea hai sir ji..." I winked back at Mr Dil
"Manik.. don't listen to this Idiot" pleaded Mr Brain
And we both ignored his pleas😆
In an instant...I caught hold of Nandini's hands and once again started the pradakshina..
"Manik..kya kar rahe ho.. leave my hand..." and she jerked her hands away..
"No...Ab hum saath mein hi karege..."
"Manik..you don't know what are you doing..."
"I know we are doing Pradakshina...right... that's what you said..."
"Manik...I am not saying about that..You can't understand the significance of that..."
"Ab chup karogi tum..."
I grabbed her hand once again and started leading her...and without saying a word she was gaping at me and moving as well.
"How many times...?"
