It was sunny. Odd. It had been raining for awhile in the town Josh resided in. Shirtless, he ran a hand through his warm, blonde hair.

A knock on the door is what pulled him out of bed.

He opened it to find a smiling Abigail. Her hair had been tied into a bun, a yellow sundress adorned her body, and yellow Oxfords covered her feet.

She grinned yet again and hugged him, blushing when she realized Josh was shirtless.

"What brings you here so early?" Josh questioned, grabbing his glasses and grinning as the two walked through his messy flat.

"I'm off to get a haircut. But I've no idea what to get. My mom always was my advisor in these situations. Would you come with me?" The sunshine beam asked. Josh nodded and smiled.

"Well put on a shirt and lets go." She said, staring at Joshua's bare chest.

"Okay."

She couldn't help but smile as she took in his rough morning voice.

The two walked into the hairdressers a bit later, after getting out of work. Abigail laughed as Josh snapped a picture of her in the chair.

"What do you think you'll like?" Josh asked, pulling out her bun as she looked at a book of styles. She shivered a bit when his calloused fingers grazed the back of her neck.

"This one." Abigail said confidently, pointing at a woman with a darker hair color. Brunette. Her hair was cut to a bob.

Later, with her new hair and new hope, Abigail and Josh roamed the streets of London.

A man offered her a go at playing the ukulele in the towns square and she happily picked up the pastel pink instrument. Josh took out his Canon and snapped a few pictures. He watched as the girl he had only known for two months, the girl he fell so quickly in love with, played music.

He was in total awe at her beauty.

She played Rainbow Connection and he fell in love with her and her voice all over again.

Now was the time.

When she finished playing, he led her to the park. They sat under a blooming apple tree. It was nothing compared to her beauty.

"Abigail. I've only known you for two months. But, in those two months, I found a new best friend. I never thought I would meet such an amazing girl in Britain. I'm so lucky to have you in my life. And I've had this feeling for awhile-" Josh said, blushing.

"Joshua, what are you trying to say?" Abigail asked, grinning ear to ear. She knew what he was going to ask.

"Abigail Bedford, will you be my girlfriend?"

Abigail was the first to make the move. Their lips embraced under the falling white petals, Josh smiling into the kiss, the two's warm breath warming both their glasses.

"Yes." She said, smiling.

Josh was on top of the world. He couldn't remember when he'd been so happy. Kissing her cheek, everything seemed right.

And everything was.
