The two opened up the door to a bustling household. Abigail was an only child and growing up, the house was almost silent. This was quite a change. Laughing and an overall warm feeling could be presented in the Dun household.

"Josh!!" The family cheered, coming up to Josh and Abigail, rejoining with their family member and meeting Abigail. It was welcoming. Lovely.

"Everyone, this is Abigail. Abigail, this is everyone." Josh said, smiling. He looked like the happiest thing you've ever seen.

"Abigail, I'm Laura, this is my husband Bill, I'm Josh's mom." An older woman said, grinning. Abigail nodded and hugged her, and then introduced herself to the rest of the family. Josh and Abigail headed upstairs to drop their things, Josh's in his old room, Abigail's in the guest room.

"Hey baby, sorry if my family was overbearing. They can be-" Josh started, rubbing his neck. Abigail cut him off by kissing his lips.

"They're great Josh. I love your family!" Abigail exclaimed.

"I'm so happy." Josh said, kissing her cheek. Abigail then shut out Josh of her room after a bit to change into leggings and a tee shirt. She debated wearing her beanie or not, but ultimately decided not to.

As she headed downstairs, she stopped on the steps. Josh was talking to his mom.

"I really do love her. I love her so so much. I'm just afraid. Mom? What if she doesn't make it? It's not getting any better. The doctors are starting a new treatment when we get back, but what if-" Josh whispered. He was clearly starting to cry from the sound of his voice. His mom cut him off with reassurance and hugs.

Abigail entered the kitchen smiling, and hugged Josh.

"What's wrong?" She asked, pulling her boyfriend aside.
"Nothing baby. It's nothing.
I promise." Josh assured. But Abigail could still see the glistening of tears.

"Abigail, Josh! We should make my famous cookies together!" Josh's sister, Abigail exclaimed.

"Yes! Great idea! Now I get to bake with my two favorite Abigail's!" Josh exclaimed, pumping his fist into the air. The entire family burst into laughter.

Abigail finally had another family.
