Twila's POV
We did our morning rituals as usual and lumapit si Ally dala-dala ang isang cup noodles. May ganto din pala dito? Anyways.
"Ally, Saturday naman ngayon, ah? Ba't ang aga niyo akong ginising?" Tanong ko habang kinakain yung cup noodles na dala ni Ally.
"Aside sa hindi ka pa kumakain, we will tour you around the academy." Masayang sabi ni Ally. Saktong paglabas naman si Freysha sa banyo.
Now that I think about it, oo nga no? Hindi ko pa na-tour ng maayos itong napaka-laking academy na 'to. Na-busy din kasi agad, ayan tuloy 'di ako nakapag-galam
Pagkatapos kong kumain, nagsuot lang ako ng simpleng white t-shirt paired with my blue skinny jeans and a white rubber shoes. Simple girl ang atake ko ngayon, tour lang naman sa school ang gagawin.
"Ang ganda mo namang tingnan kahit simple lang suot mo, Twi!" Freysha commented habang nag-aayos ng buhok. Tiningnan ko naman ang sarili ko.
"Bola talaga, kayo nga din e, sus!" I said while rummaging my bag para kunin ang wallet ko.
After getting ready, we decided to just walk around. And yes, nakakapagod talaga. They wanted to walk para ma-cherish daw talaga yung tour namin.
We walked for a couple of minutes, and marami na din akong natutunan about the stops we made kanina. And ngayon saamin fourth stop is this gigantic tree na parang treehouse kung titingnan niyo. Kaya gusto ko talagang umakyat.
"Wag! Kay Vlad ang puno na yan." Babala ni Ally saakin. Nahalata niya ata na aakyat ako. Pero ano namang pake ko kung kay Vlad?
"Sus, wala namang pangalang naka-ukit eh. I just wanna see what's up there. I'll be back in a jiffy." Sabi ko at umakyat na ng tuluyan. I heard Ally and Freysha telling me to be careful, I just nodded and continued climbing the tree. Sanay akong umakyat ng puno, but this is the largest one so far.
After 1234567890 years, naakyat ko siya. Pero wah it's so tiring! Although sanay ako, kung hindi lang talaga dahil sa kuryosidad ko, I would never climb this enormous tree.
But all the tiredness seemed to have vanished dahil sa ganda ng tanawin dito! It made the climbing all worth it!
The view is really astonishing. A bench was placed on the edge, which is the perfect spot to feel the fresh breeze. And what's more cool is that the branches also look like a mini tree. Overall, it's very relaxing. I sat on the bench and looked below.
But suddenly, my head ached, and random flashes of light surged my mind.
"Wow! Ang ganda naman dito." Manghang sabi ng batang babae.
"What are you doing here?" A little guy entered the scene.
"Hello! Pwede mag-tanong? Nasaan tong lugar na 'to?" Tanong ng Batang Babae.
"You're in Lemuria Academy. You should know that. Im ------." The little girl couldn't hear what the name was.
"Ano?" Tanong ng babae. "Ang hina naman ng boses mo, bata!"
"Never mind. Anyway, what brings you here agai.?" Tanong ng batang lalaki.
"I don't know nasaan si Tita, nag lakad-lakad nalang ako. Anong grade mo na bata? Grade 2 na ako, marunong na ako mag-cursive, ikaw?" Sabi ng BB (Batang Babae)
"Huh? Ano yan? Grade 2?" Tanong ng lalaki.
"Hindi ka ba nag-aaral? Tuturuan nalang kita, magaling naman ako sa cursive." Sabi ng batang babae.
"You're so funny! What's that supposed to mean? Where did you come from?" Tanong ng BL.
"Sa Mindanao talaga una kami nakatira, pero ngayon sa Manila na kami. Saan kaya 'to? Baguio?" The little girl said full of curiosity.
"Ang weird naman ng mga sinasabi mo. What's your ability? " Tanong ng batang lalaki..
"Hmmm, ability? Ngayon magaling na ako mag cursive, noon nahihirapan talaga ako niyan." The little girl said while happily tracing cursive letters on the air.
"You're so funny, what I mean is your powe---"
"What are you doing here?"
"Who-?" I couldn't finish my question dahil bigla nalang akong nanghina, everything around me was spinning.
And then, black out.
Vlad's POV
"Twila!" I said sabay salo sa kanya. Bigla nalang siyang nahimatay. Is she sick? And why is she here in the first place?
Using out abilities inside the school premises is not allowed, but that doesn't apply to me. I'm THE Vlad, I'm the law.
I teleported to the clinic. And what I saw made my blood boil even more
"Go get a room, you two. This is not a make-out room." I said and stared at them coldly.
"Sorry, Prince Vlad I--- We wa---" Di ko na ito pinatapos at tinabig sila, nakaharang sa pintuan. I should've teleported inside the clinic, this literally made my day worse.
"Nurse Jam, heal her." Tipid kong utos. Nihiga ko na siya sa kama.
"What happened to her, Vlad?" Tanong ni Nurse Jam and checked her condition.
"Nahimatay. Ewan ko bakit." Tipid kong sagot. Kinapitan niya ito sa ulo. May pinainom si dito.
"There are no major complications, and she's overall fine. Maybe due to stress or fatigue. Excuse me." Sabi ni Nurse Jam at umalis na.
Tiningnan ko si Twila. Average. Huh, average? I looked at her more closely. I usually don't find girls attractive easily, but I have to admit. She really has her own charm. He features are defined. Her eyes, high nose bridge and pinkish lips compliments her face well. The structure of ger face also-- wait, what am I even saying
"Staring is rude, you know." Sabi ni Twila na nakapikit parin. Upon hearing her voice agad kong nilayo ang mukha ko and faked cough.
Minulat niya ang mata niya and huh? Rainbow? Wait, did I just see her eyes change color?
"Your face is so priceless." Natatawang sabi ni Twila. Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. Looks like namalik mata lang ako, the color of her eyes are actually brown.
Anyways, I'm Vlad Axsphel Wright and I'm always right. I have 3 abilities. I'm lighting user, I can read minds, and I can also manipulate fire.
But what I'm wondering is why I can't read her mind. Sealing ones mind requires a lot of training and practice, you also need mastery. Even me myself, perfecting the mind sealing spell.
I looked at her and ang lalim ng iniisip niya. Which makes me really curious, ano kaya iniisip niya? Not that I care though. I really dont.
"Why can't I read your mind." I whispered.
"Taray, kaya nga may ulo." She sarcastically said while playing with her fingertips.
Malakas pala pagkasabi ko? But I made sure only I myself can hear that. Was it really that loud?
'What are really?" I thought to myself.
"Tao?" Patanong nanaman niyang sabi. "Tao ako."
"Did you just--?" Unbelievable! "You can read minds?"
"Did I?" Tanong niya sa sarili niya. "I-Intrusive thought lang yun. Don't mind that, I have to go."
Then she stormed off the room. What the hell just happened.
