“Of course not. Why would we do that?” natatarantang napalingon naman si Sam kay Jade. Nilakihan naman ni Jade ang mata, as if she was saying that “don’t you dare!”
“Then why are you here? Iniwan ko kayo sa bahay ah!” Napapatingin naman sa amin ang mga tao na kalalabas lang sa mall. There was a minute of silence.
“Ac-tually.. I invited them, Madds.” Aimee butted. Parang nabuhayan naman ng ideya ang tatlo. They are now giving me a beamed faces.
“Nanood kami ng sine and nagshopping na din.” Nabigla naman silang lahat sa sinabi ni Alex, obviously she’s lying.
“Really Alex?” I smirked. “Then asan yung pinamili niyo?” I doubted because Mayerie will not be going home without any paper bags with her. Shopaholic queen kaya to si Mayerie.
“Ahhh..” loading mode naman si Sam.
“Hey girls, why are we explaining to her anyway?” Jade stated and walk towards me. “For your little information, sister. We don’t owe you any explanation.” Pinched my cheeks and giving her annoying smile. Argg. Kapatid ko nga ‘to.
“Right. You’re the one who should explain, why did you leave us just like that? Diba Sam?”
“And one more thing—“
“Maddison, you’re still here? Where is Jeron?” hindi na natapos ni Sam ang sasabihin ng may lumapit sa amin. Bigla naman lumaki ang mga mata nila at nag palitan na lamang sila ng mga tingin.
“Ah. Kinuha lang ung kotse niya.” Mahina kung sagot kay Fortuna at nilingon ang nasa likod niya si Jeric. Ano ba namang sitwasyon ito.
“Ganun ba. Btw. Who are these pretty girls with you?” Fortuna asked playfully. The girls giggle except Jade.
I introduced Jeric Fortuna to them, of course they recognize him already. One of the most appealing faces on UAAP basketball league, sino nga naman ang hindi nakakakilala. Nakikipagbiruan naman agad si Fortuna sa kanila hanggang sa dumating na si Jeron. The guys invited us in their incoming game, larong magakakaibigan daw.
“Basta girls be there. This coming Saturday un. Mauuna na kami.” Fortuna said. We bid our goodbyes to each other and went straight their owned cars, ako makikisabay lang naman.
Jeron open the front seat door for me and I was about to enter when Jade ran towards us.
“Pwede bang sumabay? Ihahatid mo naman si Jane sa bahay diba?” I heard Jade asked Jeron. Anong pakana na naman ang gagawin nito kaya. I remember the last time we talked about Jeron and she gave me a warned back then.
“No problem to me. How about you, Madds?” Jeron look at to me. I look away and glared Jade, pwede naman kasing sumabay dun kila Aimee eh.
“I think my sister don’t want to.” She acted like a poor girl.
“I didn’t say anything. And Jeron, why are you asking my permission? This is your car not mine.” I directly enter the car and take the front seat. Pumasok na rin naman si Jeron sa kabila while Jade take the back seat.
