I hate to do this, but I'm going to split this into two chapters, so it doesn't get too lengthy. They'll be released at the same time, so don't worry!

"Hello? Oh, you're finally able to answer?" Kurapika says into the mobile phone he holds up to his ear, "How are you doing, Gon?"

"Kurapika!" Gon exclaims through the speaker, "Ging and I were travelling through a forest with no service, I'm sorry."

Kurapika nods to this, "It's fine. But I was trying to get in contact to tell you about (Y/N)."

"Oh? Did she become vice chairman?" Gon asks.

"Yes," The blonde haired man starts, sitting up in his desk chair, "But something bad happened. She was shot with a bullet full of hateful nen. The nen was so strong it caused her to lose most of her memories, movement, and all of her nen."

"Really?!" Gon questions in disbelief, "Is she okay?! Who shot her?!"

"She can move a little bit now, and she's slowly recovering memories, but the nen exorcist says that her nen is completely gone." He explains with a sullen look on his face.

"Oh no.." The young boy says with a saddened tone, "But she was good at using her nen."

"I know," Kurapika agrees, "We still don't know who shot her, however, I have been doing extensive research. I've studied the nen bullet, and talked with the nen exorcist, as well. The only way for a nen ability to be this strong is for a restriction to be set. The restriction in this case being; I will only use this power on (Y/N). And if I use it on anybody else, I forfit my life."

"Oh.." Gon says in a quiet voice. He stays quiet on the other end of the line for a minute as he thinks. Finally, he speaks again, "Does that mean someone really hates (Y/N)?"

Kurapika nods, "It seems to be that way. I've tried to search the user, but I haven't come up with anything. There's no trace of them in the building she was shot at, and the nen from the bullet is slowly fading."

"I'd like to go visit her," Gon starts, "But Ging and I are really busy for awhile. Sorry. Can you tell her I said hi?"

"Sure. What's Killua up to? He hasn't answered my calls either."

Gon begins to explain the situation to Kurapika, "So, he's travelling with his sister Alluka now. He probably doesn't have service."

"Ah, okay," Kurapika replies, letting out a sigh, "Can you call him when he has service again, and tell him about (Y/N). I'm sure he'd like to know."

"Sure thing, Kurapika." He hears an adult man's voice in the background, complaining about Gon being on the phone, "Err, sorry, I've got to go, or we're going to have to sleep outside again. Goodbye Kurapika!"

"Goodbye, Gon." Kurapika pulls the mobile phone away from his ear, and shoves it into his pcoket, letting out a long sigh afterwards. Once he sees the clock, however, he grins, "Time to go see (Y/N)." He stands from his desk, and walks out of the room quickly.

Half an hour later, the kurta finds himself standing outside of (Y/N)'s closed door. Odd. he thinks to himself. It's usually never fully closed. He knocks gently, not eliciting a response.

"..Kurapika.." A soft voice comes from behind the door.

The blonde man opens the door slowly, and walks in, closing it behind him. Once he looks over to your bed, his mouth parts slightly in surprise. He makes his way over to you quietly, and smiles as he watches your sleeping figure, "Are you dreaming about me?"

You shift slightly in your sleep, the nightmare becoming more immersive. "..Kurapika" You start to thrash around in the bed, calling his name a bit louder.
