It takes Sting a few careful moments of consideration when he speaks, and it's not in agreement; though he stops himself when he learns that his protests, his weak reasoning does nothing more than ignite a rebellious gloss to your eyes, and he can already see the way your fingers are twitching in anticipation (He remembers the youthfulness of the Grand Magic Games that was bathed in an unnecessarily immature rivalry Sting sometimes wants to apologize for,) and he remembers just how powerful you truly are- it takes some thinking and a few sips of his drink before he finally gives you his consent.

[a/n]: i tried so hard to fit all that into one sentence. and i'm really running out of ideas so for now i'm just going to be posting really really short updates, and the book is ending soon.
