The Boy Who Can't See ✔️

Dan's Pov:

This is it, it's time for Prom and let me tell you that i am really nervous that i will make Melissa fall with her heels or slip in the floor, but i will have her with me, i might not be able to see her but i know she is beautiful, and she will look even more in prom, that's for sure.

Right now my grandma is helping me to put on my tie and she keeps telling me that she is happy that i will almost finish school and soon go to college

She starts crying and telling me how proud she is and so is my grandpa, after finishing with my tie she smiles and we patiently wait for Melissa.

I can't pick her up, i don't have the sight to do it, and if you were wondering I'm a senior and she's a sophomore but i can take anyone to prom, and it will be my last year of school and i wanted to finish the year, now i want to stay with Melissa and go to college together but since she is 16 and i am 18.

After waiting finally i can hear a car door shut and a knock on the door, and my grandma opens it and gasps i guess that she saw Melissa or an animal.

She hates animals

But later i heard the voice that brings a smile to my face, and i gave her my hand and she took it, finally i said "You look gorgeous" and i could sense her blush then she said " how do you know?" and i smiled and said " i just do".

After taking pictures my grandparents dropped us off to prom.

This is a night for me and her, to remember a night for us.

Just us

- 2 hours later-

It's already late and i still haven't danced with Melissa, and I'm anxiously waiting for a song to dance with her.

After finally waiting a slow song came and i grabbed her hand and she guided us to the dancefloor and i put my hands on her hips and she put her hands on my neck and we slowly move at the rhythm of the music and enjoy ourselves.

After dancing i sat down with Melissa and i was starting to get tired and prom was really rowdy so i told Melissa i was going to get fresh air and she asked me if i wanted her with me, but i declined and went out the door

While i was walking i felt a presence behind me, but i just shrugged it off but when i was about to go into the door i got hit in the head and knocked myself on the floor and everything went black.

Melissa's Pov:

Why is he taking so long?

I'm gonna check on him, but I'm still nervous that something bad is gonna happen, maybe i was wrong

Or maybe i was right.

Because when i walked out i saw Dan laying on the floor and blood running down his head, i ran to him and tried to call an ambulance but when i tried to grab my purse i heard that voice that i immediately recognized and was not glad to hear it again

"So we see again, Melissa you had your chance to come with him but you didn't, you stayed inside so now i think you know what will happen" she said with a smirk playing on her face

What is she talking about?

Before i could ask what did that mean something hit me in the head and my last thought was

This is not how prom should've ended.

and later i blacked out.
