The Boy Who Can't See ✔️

Melissa's Pov:

We arrived at the movies just in time to buy the popcorn and beverages, Dan's grandpa is gonna be sitting with us in the theater but different seats.

I kinda feel bad, I wanted him to stay with us but he insisted to let us enjoy our date.

What a good man I thought

We bought popcorn, hot dogs and drinks; I saw Dan take out his wallet then start touching the money and pulled out 20 dollars

"Here you go" he told the cashier waiting impatiently for the money and just finish his shift probably to do something better

I looked at Dan's direction and saw him staring at me "You look beautiful" he proudly said

I blushed and told him he looked handsome, "Let's go we're going to be late!" I exclaimed, we were going to watch Civil war and I am ready to watch it.

"Why? I rather be here and just stay with you, forever" he whispered near my ear, making me feel his warm breath that invaded the area

I slowly walked to him and brushed my lips on his, then said "We will be forever, baby" before forcing my lips with his, the kisses were the thing that i was going to miss the most.

I could feel the tears but i didn't want to cry in front of him, knowing he would start feeling guilty of the pain but I love him so much that no one, but I mean no one will make me hate him.

"I love you" he placed his lips on my lips

I kissed him back and told him "I love you too"

After that the mood somewhat went back to normal and we were going to miss the movie if we don't hurry up

I grabbed his hand and guided us to the room where the movie was displayed on

"Now let's go!"

"You liked the sounds of the movie?" I asked Dan after the movie finished but was silent through out the movie

He nodded and told me he has to take me someplace that I would like and also has a present for me

I wonder what it is though...

"Wait your Grandpa is not gonna take me home?" I asked him worried where even is Mr. Silverstone

He gave me a smirk and said "He's already in the car waiting for us, Why? Wanna go somewhere the two of us alone?" He still had that hot smirk on his face

I blushed again and bowed my head, then said "Yes"

I raise my head to find his face emotionless, like he didn't expected that at all and well i.. didn't either.

He smiled and called his grandpa " Grandpa, Can you take us somewhere?" Still looking at my direction, even if his clear blue eyes can't see anything

We both smiled at the same time

My head was jumping into conclusions right now...

We were sitting on a park bench, it was already late so there was barely anyone in here

We sat in silence until Dan broke it, "I'm leaving soon" he started

I just listened while he continued, "Remember the first time we met in school, at the school's front door and you told me your name was Melissa and then i introduced myself"

I said a faint 'yes' and he kept with the story " Then with the Brittany thing, you meeting my grandparents, them telling me how much you mean to me, and I didn't realize they were right until I started feeling butterflies on my stomach when I heard your voice, every time they talked about you and my feelings weren't that anymore, it was something more.."

I stood silent but almost lost it when I heard him say  "Love"

I looked his direction and felt his hand on my cheek and didn't realize I was really crying instead in my head, I love the feeling of his hand on my face, I wanted to have it there forever

" I love you Melissa Lockedheart, and I want you to be with me, you are the girl for me and I know it cause you bring many emotions into me every time, everyday and one of them is the love I feel for you, so will you please do me the honor of marrying me? " he got out of the bench and pulled a ring out of his pocket and bent in one knee

I stood in a shock that seemed to last for minutes but lasted for a few seconds, I took the ring and yelled "Of course!" In a very happy tone I embraced him and he gave me a passionate kiss, we shared a kiss on a park at night and I just got engaged to Dan Silverstone

Could this moment be even more perfect?
