                                                    Chapter 13

I finally made it to the Entertainment room, with my breath all ragged. You might ask why, and I say because I had to climb five freaking flights of stairs, just to come to a stupid Entertainment room which would probably reek of boy sweat and be cluttered with boy stuff! That’s not very appealing to me if you ask.

I stood in front of the polished brown door with the silver knob sticking out. I could see my reflection crystal clear inside of the doorknob. Whoever cleans this gigantic mansion does it well!

I was thinking of what I should do; should I knock on the door? Should I just open the door? Or should I just not go in at all? The questions were flooding my head, and at the end I ended up knocking on the door. This wasn’t my house, so I couldn’t just enter every room like it was the absolute right thing to do.

A few seconds later, a boy stepped out. I recognized him as Reese. He was the one who tried flirting with her in Spanish. I chuckled lightly at that and Reese grinned.

“What brings this hottie over to the Entertainment room?” He asked curiously with a devilish smirk on his lips.

My chuckle died down and I stared at him, straight in his insanely captivating green eyes. That boy standing right before me was a player. Snap out of it.

“I was invited here.” I replied, my voice as flat as a board.

“Who invited you?” He questioned, quirking his eyebrows in confusion.

   “Uh, Dylan.” I replied.

The confusion faded off his face and he said, “Oh. Right. Always has to be friendly with the ladies right?” He asked, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.

   “Um, okay?” I said unsurely.

“Okay, well come on in,” Reese said, gesturing his hands towards the inside of the door, after he saw that his flirting wasn’t getting him anywhere. I couldn’t help but sneak another glance at him again, the shaggy blonde hair that fell perfectly over his forehead and, the deep, bottle green eyes and his perfectly crooked smile.

I stepped into the room and my eyes immediately fell to the numerous amounts of T.V. screens displayed on the marbled walls. I couldn’t help but notice the two shelves filled to the max with games and I of course couldn’t overlook the cart that was filled with all the types of gaming stations in the world.

After I was done checking out the techy stuff in the room, I turned my attention towards the eight, insanely hot boys lounging comfortably on the couch, and staring at me with intent eyes.

Nick looked partly confused, and then a little pissed. Seriously, what’s his problem? Is he upset that I intruded into his house and am interacting with his freakishly large family? Well I’m sorry, but it wasn’t my choice, and have you ever heard of a thing called sharing?

Dylan smiled at me reassuringly and patted the empty space on the couch next to him.

I looked at the other boys, who were staring at me with curiosity and their faces plastered with evil smirks.

Whatever in the world were they thinking?

I sat down next to Dylan and he asked me if I wanted to play anything.

I denied because I wasn’t really in the mood to play after the looks that Nick has been giving me. I mean I don’t want to be here so he should probably try to make me feel a little welcome.

“Aw, it’s all right! I’ll go easy on you!” Dylan teased when I denied on playing Mario Cart.

“Oh it’s on!” I practically yelled at him. I was kickass at this game! I was used to playing with Bryce and I knew this game upside down and backside up.

“Okay, just so you know, I’m not going to go easy on you. I want to see you lose epically!” Dylan warned.

I shrugged carelessly with a smirk. “Bring it on sister!” I teased.

“I am not a girl!” He called out, clearly offended.

I grinned and said, “I never called you a girl! I called you a sister!”

   “Same thing,” He said.

“The words are different!” I pointed out.

“Okay, stop being such a smartass and play!”

At the end, I beat Dylan of course! He was amazed by my skills and I smirked and said, “Aw, does it feel the same when someone wins compared to losing epically?”

There was an array of, “Damn dude! She’s got you!”

I smiled widely and we played for like three freakishly long hours. I was turning into one of those addicted gamers. I had a turn to play with almost everyone except for Eddie, because he didn’t know how to play, and Nick because he didn’t want to play. At least with me!

This was getting pretty darn annoying and I haven’t even been here for a whole day!

I knew what I was going to do. I was going to stay out of Nick’s way for the two weeks that I’m here. I’ll ignore him and since he’s already doing the same, we’ll be even.

I inwardly smiled at that and left the boys with a goodnight.

I trudged down to the third floor and entered my temporary room.

I was feeling really beat right now and all I really wanted to do was fall back down on the insanely comfy looking bed and sleep.

After I was all comfy in my bed and ready to end the day, I smiled at the thought that in less than a day, I have met nine incredibly cute boys!

   Nine, you may ask.

Man, you must have a short memory if you forgot about Blake from the plane and his number that was stashed in my phone, along with a bunch of others.

I just might enjoy these two weeks. Stay friendly with the boys and keep out of Nick’s path.

That my friend, is a huge piece of banana cream pie…
