                                                  Chapter 13

Katherine stares up at Brian who is now glaring at her and holding a knife that he has been using to torture her. It was clear in his eyes that he had no love left for her and only wanted to hurt her. He had binded Katherine to a chair in his bedroom and was taking his sweet time to torture her. So far he had just made small cuts along her body.

“Please…Brian don’t do this I am pregnant please think of my baby” She pleads to him as she stares down at her bleeding wrists. She had pulled so hard against the rope that it had dug into her skin. He had sliced her along her collar bone, her stomach, her arms, her thighs and her face not deep enough to bleed her dry but enough to make her untouchable as he would say.

“Ha you think I care about that bastard child….You should have thought of that before you left me Kate” he spit out at her as he reached his hand up into her hair and jerked her head back causing her to shriek in terror as she could feel the knife against her throat.

“I should kill you while I still have the chance. Or maybe I should just keep playing with you” He said as he dug the knife into her skin along her throat and she could feel the blood trickle down her neck.

Katherine gritted her teeth as she fought the scream begging to be released. She wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of hearing her suffer. Brian seemed to take notice as he glared at her before punching her in the face hard. Katherine yelped as her head jerked to the side and she could taste the blood feeling her mouth. She turned to look at him before spitting it in his face.

“YOU LITTLE BITCH!” He growled at her before punching her again from the other side. He ripped her head back by her hair and held the knife up ready to plunge it into her. Katherine was so weak all she could see was the blurry image of him and the knife. She closed her eyes ready to accept her fate as the knife plunged into her side.

Katherine cried out in pain as she struggled for a few moments before letting her head hang weakly that’s when she noticed Brian limp beside her with a bullet whole clear between his eyes. He had tried to stab her in the heart but someone had shot him and as he fell the knife went into her side.

“Kat…Kat look at me are you ok.” The panicked voice now in front of her said but she was too weak and to really see who it was. The voice sounded familiar but she just couldn’t place it yet.

“Katherine please baby look at me” The voice chimed again as the figure before her shook her gently causing her to wake more.

“Et...ethan” Katherine stuttered out as she stared up at him tears running down her face.

“Oh Kat thank god you’re ok” Ethan rushes out before quickly cutting her loose. Katherine hisses as the ropes that were dug into her skin are now removed. Ethan quickly picks Katherine up bridal style and makes his way for the door. He checks down the hall to make sure it’s clear before starting to walk back to where he left Ryan.

“Ryan lets go get his stupid ass up and bring him he’s our ticket out of here and whatever you do trust no one but me and Kat” Ethan says before turning to walk down the hall. Katherine’s head falls back limp hanging over his arm as she is going in and out of consciousness.

“Come on baby were almost out of here stay with me” He says to her as he taps her face gently.

“WE HAVE CHRIS STAND BACK OR I SWEAR WE WILL KILL HIM!” Ryan shouts from behind the wall contected to the hall. Footsteps echo down the hall as people scatter.
