Chapter 10

I opened the door and I don't know how I stayed standing. There he was. He was wearing a white dress shirt and black pants. His eyes were even more breath taking. He was beautiful. I always dreamed of this night for years, him showing up At my doorstep and sweeping me off my feet. It took everything for me not to break down into tears. I tried to hide my nervous shaking. I smiled and he smiled back hugging me.

"you look beautiful" he whispered in my ear.

we pulled away and I nervously slid a piece of hair behind my ear. Blushing I said,

"you don't look to bad yourself"

he smiled and stepped to the side while reaching his hand out for me,"shall we?"

i blushed and took his hand, nodding. He led me to his car and I tried to open the door but he stopped me. I looked at him confused and he smiled back, opening the door for me. I smiled and got in the car and he closed the door for me and walked around to the drivers side, getting in.

"You didn't have to do that." I blushed.

"I know,but I wanted to. It's the gentleman thing to do." He said as he started the car and we started driving.

"so where we goin?" I asked.

"it's a surprise." He smiled.

I just nodded and kept trying to keep my eyes on the passing scenery and not him. He'd probably think I was a creep for that. It just amazes me how a month ago I was sitting at home trying to get any chance of meeting this man and now I'm in his passenger seat. And we are going on a date!! Ok calm down...no fangirling. You got this. We started to get out of tow and we stopped when we came to a park. I looked at him confused and he smiled. I smiled back and began to open my door,

"ahh. Stop" he said quickly, getting out of the car and running to my door opening it. He offered his hand and helped me out of the car. This man was perfect. Me being my clutzy self tripped once i hit the pavement and he caught me. he was holding me completely against his body. i was afraid to look up at him, but when i did he was all smiles. I blushed. My heart was going a million miles a minute. I pulled away slowly and rubbed my neck,

"sorry I'm sort of a clutz"

he was still smiling, "no problem. I'll catch ya whenever ya fall."

i blushed even harder and so did he when he realized what he said. He smiled and opened the back seat door, pulling out a basket. He turned to me,

"thought we could have a picnic"

i nodded. A picnic while watching the sunset with norman reedus? Yes pleasE!
