Chapter 17: Back to Clarines

[THE LONG AWAITED CHAPTER 17!!!! Wait does this mean it's not stopped?! :O]

Looking out the window as we rode in the carriage, on our way back home to Clarines. It would be a long ride back home, afterall Clarines and L/N kingdom were neighboors, but the distance was still great. 

I smiled, as i saw how the wild horses ran on the fields, and the sound of the birds chipping. I couldn't help but smile, at the thought of how Zen got a little jealous over a stupid dance with Raji. I never thought of him as a jealous person, afterall he always showed this caring and trusting front. That no matter what you did, he would still trust you, or almost anyways. 

I turned my gaze to look at him, his eyes also being captivated by the scenery outside. His blue orbs reflecting the sight. A light chuckle came from my mouth, and he turned his gaze to meet mine. His face first confused, but then turned into that of a loving. He smiled, as he looked at me. I couldn't help but feel a little red, afterall i must admit, that he does look quite handsome in this scenery. 

How the light reflects on his white hair, and the beautiful blue pillows from the carriage, suited his blue orbs perfectly. I couldn't help but feel lost as i looked into his gaze. 

"Hello, earth calling Y/N" He said, as he waved his hand infront of my face. 

"Oh, i'm sorry what did you ask?" I asked, looking dumbfolded, as i was to busy taking in his beauty than listening.

"Just that i wished for you to tell me who you were sooner" 

"Would it really have made a difference?" I asked.

"You are the crown-princess, and i made you work as an assistant"

"Well i enjoyed it, and i thought of you to be the type of prince to not think to much about rank, and more about the people!" I said, as i chuckled. A tint of red slowly crept over his pale cheeks, as he looked down, carrasing his hand through his hair. We just stared, at eachother as if time stopped. Looking into eachothers bright orbs, not being able to take the sight of eachother. 

"Yea... That's right" 

"Anyways, how long until we arrive? I'm quite sleepy" I asked

"Hm, about 6 hours"

"Oh... Would you mind if i take a nap?" 

"No, just be comfortable" He said and smiled.

"Thank you Zen... And thank you for remembering me"

"Always"

I smiled back, and leaned my head against the window, as i slowly felt the weight of my eyelids becoming to much, and the feeling of peace and quiet slowly overtook my body, as i drifted off into sleep. But as my mind slowly drifted off i could make out a little.

"Sleep well my dearest Y/N"
