Chapter 40

Lilly's POV

It's been 3 days and I haven't really been outside of the apartment, and I definitely haven't talked to Grayson

But Madison doesn't stay here anymore she left yesterday, Jack came and got her, he wanted to talk to me but I didn't want to talk so I just told him to leave

But Ethan convinced me to give Grayson a chance to explain himself, I said I would but i don't really wanna talk to him

The door opened and Grayson walked in, he shut the door behind him. He walks into the living room

I kept my eyes down. not really wanting to he at his

"Hey Lilly" he says faintly

But I don't say anything, he walks over to the couch and sat next to me

"Lilly?" He says putting his hand on my knee

I moved my knee away "don't touch me!" I say looking the other way

"You said you would let me explain myself" he says

"Yeah, I know" I say

"Can you at least look at me?" He asked

"No, I don't want to look at you!, It's bad enough I already see you Bailey , I don't wanna look at you" I say

He stayed silent

"You better start explaining yourself before I kick you out!" I say

"Right, um I don't remember a lot but I didn't anything with Maria, but I remember coming home and she was outside the door. She said wanted to talk so I poured us some lemonade and she must of put something in mine, I swear Lilly I'm telling the truth" he says

"Okay" I say

"Okay What?" He asked

"Okay, you explained yourself now get out" I say

"Lilly" he says

"Get out" I say

"But Lil-" he says touching my shoulder

"Don't touch me! now get out before I kick you out!" I say

"Alright, I'm leaving" he says walking to the door

"Grayson, wait" I say

"What?" He turns around

I got off the couch and walk to him

"Take this with you" I say

He held out his hand and I dropped the ring in his hand, he looked at the ring and back at me

I walked back to the couch and sat down and continue looking down

He walked out closing the door behind him and as the door shut I let those tears I was holding back fall

(Later that night)

I just gave Bailey a bath and he went to sleep while I was dressing him, I put him in his crib

Then there was a knock at the door, I walked to the door and opened it to see Charlie with the bear

"Look who I found" he smiled

I gave him a small smile but not a full one

"What's Wrong?" he asked

"Come in" I say letting him in and closing the door. he took his shoes off

He followed me into my room, he sat the teddy bear next to the nightstand

I sat on my bed while he sat on the bottom of the bed

it was quiet since I wasn't saying anything

"you wanna talk about it?" He asked

I looked down

"you don't have to talk-" he says before I cut him off

"Grayson and I broke up" I say

"Oh I'm sorry" he says

"The night you dropped me off. I walked into my room to see Grayson cheating on me" I say making me cry harder

"You don't have to tell me" he says

"I know just need to get it out of my system" I say hiccuping

"Listen, Grayson was pretty damn lucky to have you, but now he's pretty damn stupid to cheat on you because Lilly you are one of the most beautiful, smartest and outgoing girls I've ever met" he says

I pull him into a hug "thank you" I cried

"It's alright" he says rubbing my back

We pulled away and I looked on his shoulder

"I'm sorry I got tears on your shirt" I say wiping my eyes

"It's okay" he says

he leaned in and kissed me, he pulled away until I pulled him back into a another kiss

He went deeper, I slowly started to lay on my back as he hovered over me

He roughly kissed my neck, he pushed himself onto me

"Wait, Charlie I Can't" I say pushing him off of me

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to push myself onto you" he says

"No it's not you, it's just that I'm pregnant" I say

"Oh, I uh understand" he nods

He gets up and walk towards the door

"Wait, you don't have to leave" I stop him

"I just kinda feel embarrassed, I just tried to push myself on you and your pregnant" he says

"Well, none of my friends know, your the only one" I say

"Can you just lay with me?" I asked

"Yeah, I do that" he says taking off his flannel and underneath he had a tank top

He got in the bed next to me, and cuddled me, he then started singing the song Jamie, Layton and I made up in 8th grade

I slowly fell asleep in Charlie's arm
