Chapter 49

Grayson's POV

"Hey Gray, have you seen Emily?" Ethan asked

"No, I've been cleaning my apartment up, why?" I asked

"I can't find her, I've texted and called, she hasn't answered" he says

"Don't worry, let's ask Alex and Jessica have they seen her" I say

"I already did, they're not answering their phones either" he says

"What?" I asked

"I'm scared I can't raise triplets on my own!" He says

"Ethan, all the girls are missing and your worried about raising triplets by yourself?" I asked

Ethan opened his mouth say something but there was a knock on the door

I went and open the door to see Jack

"What's up G?" I asked letting him in

"Um there was a letter left on the mat", he says giving it to me as I close the door behind him

"It's from the girls" I say

"What's it say?" Ethan asked

"That, they feel really stress from what's going on, so they decided to take a last minute road trip to the grand canyon" I say

"What?" Ethan asked taking the note from me

"Madison went to visit her mom, so I thought to spend to day with if that's cool" Jack says

"Yeah. it's fine" I sat next to him

"Can you please stop crying, I'm trying to sleep!" I say

"I'm sorry" she sniffed

"It's just that-" she paused

I looked over at her

"they're going to kill me" she says weakly

"Why would you say that?" I asked

"Because I found out that they're holding you down here, I started yelling at Charlie saying it wasn't part of the plan, Charlie tried to calm me down but it didn't work. I threaten to call the police and Tyler didn't like that so he ordered Charlie to take me down here and he gave him a gun" she says

"What was the plan?" I asked

"I don't know all of it, Charlie didn't tell me all of the details, but Charlie and I job in the plan was to keep Grayson and you distracted" she says

"I'm sorry, Grayson didn't really cheat on you, Charlie gave me this drug that
made him high, I put it in his lemonade" I say

Tears started to slowly show, but I quickly wiped it away

"Why?" I asked

"I needed the money, my grandparents their going to lose their house, I can't let that happen, they're the only I have left" she say

"Charlie needed the money as well, he couldn't tell his dads, that he needs money for his tuition" she say

"He really does like you, he talked about you even after hours" she says

We heard the door unlock, and footsteps coming downstairs it Charlie
He slides the tray into the cell and rolled a water bottle in as well

He didn't say anything,he just went back upstairs and locked the door

I looked down at tray, there's a McDonalds cheese burger, with French fries and chicken nuggets

"You want some?" I asked

"No, no that's your food" she says

"Here you can have the chicken nuggets, I don't like them" I say

"I'm serious no thank you" she refuses

"Maria, take the nuggets" I demand

She takes them "thank you" she smiled

"your welcome" I say taking a bite from the cheeseburger

After we finished I pushed the tray out of the cell and we both fell asleep
