Chapter 22 - Part 2

I start yelling and crying, running after the person. They run through the woods and I run after him. All of the boys with us start running too. I run around to the other side to trap the kidnapper.

I see the person coming without Darcy. I freak out a little bit, but hear one of the boys saying "Got her!!" When the kidnapper is running out into the parking lot, I run and tackle him. Alfie, Kian, and Caspar hold him down while I call the police.

Zoë and Louise pull up in the car and get out. Sam hands Darcy to Louise. I hug both of them as we cry. "Thank you for getting him." Louise says. I see the flashing lights coming and I take Darcy from Louise. I put her in the car and Zoë stays in the car with her.

The cops handcuff him and check him, and grab a knife out I his pocket. I burst into tears. Sam hugs me and it muffles my loud cries. Louise cries too. They put him in the car and drive away. The other cop asks us questions and checks Darcy for any wounds. She doesn't have any, so we are free to go.

We go home and we all watch movies for the rest of the day. They were all Disney so Darcy could watch too. I sit on Sam's lap, almost falling asleep. I don't fall asleep because I play that moment in my head. I play it over and over, not forgetting a single second. I sit there shocked, almost paralyzed.
