"What the hell is that?"

It was a week since Ate last saw Jon. And there he was beside her.

In her hand was a letter addressing all nine in the house.

All it said was an extremely vague message.

'Wait three days. I'll be there.'

It was too vague. There was no sign of who sent it, but it was guessed it was... them.

"I don't know. Hello to you, too." Ate's voice was hard. It was tired. She was tired.

Jon only furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "What did I do?" He questioned. The teen only let out a hollow chuckle.

"You left for a whole week. I had to figure out how to comfort your best friend because he couldn't even remotely talk to you," She started, turning and staring at him. "I had to deal with days on my own because Sal would work themselves up and sleep in the library. Addie stuck around Dawn the entire time. I had no one."

She shook her head before walking off towards the staircase, putting the letter on the table.

"Hey." She ignored Jon's call.

"Ate!" The said girl jumped as Jon appeared in front of her.

"I'm not in the fucking mood!" Her eyes brimmed with tears. She didn't want to deal with him. He had been there for her. He was always there when she needed help. She became dependent on him.

She was wrong to.

"I have a reason that I wasn't here. I swear," Jon's voice was desperate. Ate pushed past him.

"Stop for one damn second!" He called after her. She ignored him.

Ate kept her head down as she walked upstairs and entered her room. She closed the door. As she turned, she was met with familiar light green eyes.

"I was forced away from you!" Jon quickly said, worried he wouldn't be able to get his words out if he didn't say them all at once.

Ate's expression was changed from absolutely and utterly annoyance to a confused expression. "What do you mean you were forced away?"

Jon gave a shrug. "I don't know. I was there when you were with Tommy but then I disappeared," He told her. "I think it has to deal with that note from the Creator."

Ate's eyebrows furrowed. "'The Creator'?" She questioned and earned a nod.

"That's what she calls herself," Jon told her. "The Creator."
