The Way it has to be

All I need is you

I stand there in shock, Gerard had in only a matter of minutes introduced me to so many new and important things like his band, I didn't even freaking know he had a band not to mention the fact that they're going on tour. My head full with trying to take it all in I just stand there looking at Gerard motionless in confoundation. He's worried, I can tell by the way he's chewing his bottom lip. But then my expression changes and I no longer feel immobile.

"Gerard, seriously! Are you kidding? Of course!" I say still slightly lost in the excitement of the moment but still trying not to get to carried away.

"What about your parents?" He asks hesitantly, nervous for my reply.

"They're not that strict, besides this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, i'm going, no matter what" A smile emerges on Gerards face,

"Rose, you have no idea how much that means to me" As he finishes, Gerard moves even closer to me and slides his hand through my hair, sending goosebumps down my neck. He tilts his head slightly, the sun's beams hit his face perfectly and I just realise how truly beautiful he is. He clutches my cheek...Then, my world changes, gerards lips collide with mine and I am left motionless, everything around me doesn't matter anymore, it's just gerard and I, no one else.

When Gerard pulls away, I'm reluctant to let him go. I didn't realise how much I wanted him and now he's made me want him even more. " I'm sorry to leave you like this Rose but I've go to go and you need to probably get to class" I had totally forgotten about that.

"Promise me, that I'll see you tonight" I say before turning away and continuing to class

"I promise" He says as I walk away and he disappears.

That Evening...

I guess I haven't really mentioned my parents, there wasn't really any point to inform you before but now there is so... My mum, she's nice most of the time, strict when she needs to be and caring, to the point that we fall out (Boy, again sorry) sometimes but I love her for it. My dad, he's a bit trickier to explain so i'll say this, you know when you're on the good side of my dad but you really know it when you're on the bad.

When I get to the house, my mum is leaning on the counter, dads still not home yet.

"Mum, you know Warped tour"

"Yes, honey" my mums tone is slightly higher than usual, clearly she's unsure about what I may say.

"I got offered a free space there"

"Oh, well I mean as long as it is going to be safe honey and you know what you're doing than I have nothing against it"

Thank goodness my mum said yes, now that was cleared up the only thing left was to see Gerard...
