"Lace? Have you got everything, have you double checked?" My Mum yelled from the car
"Yes, Mum. Calm down." I said quickly scanning every room to see that we hadn't left anything behind
"Good" She said starting the ignition
Me and My Mum were moving to Birmingham, My Dad is Brazilian so he lives there and has done ever since I was 2, he sends me cards and presents for Christmas/My Birthday but its always been Me and my Mum.
My names Lacey or Lace and I'm 17 years old. Originally I'm from Yorkshire, but I'm quite tan because of my Dad being Brazilian, so it has its perks
--- Upon Arrival ---
"Lace, we're here" my Mum said nudging me
It was bright and sunny when I opened my eyes, I must have fallen asleep. The moving men were here to help unpack. I walked upstairs to my bedroom.
It was big with teal walls and white floral décors on two of the walls, there was a walk in wardrobe and a desk with my monitors for my MacBook, big set of French doors that opened onto my own balcony. The garden had a pool and a couple deckchairs with some bushes in the back corners.
"Wow, this is gorgeous" I exclaimed out loud
"I thought you'd like it" My Mum said from behind me
"Lace, do you want to pop round to Starbucks whilst I unpack? Then you won't be bored and I felt like being nice" She said handing me a £10 note
"Thanks Mum, Love youuu" I said slipping my white low top converse back on
My outfit was my favourite black My Chemical Romance shirt tucked into my black high waisted shorts and white low top converse, My caramel coloured hair was just its natural wavy self as usual, I had just been in the car for 3 hours. I wasn't gonna make that much effort.
I saw the Starbuck sign after walking a few minutes, which was good because I was starting to get fed up of looking
I went in Starbucks and four guys looked up at me. One in particular, one with curly brown hair and hazelnut eyes that could make you melt.
"Hey hun, welcome to Starbucks what would you like to order?" The kind cashier asked
"Can I have a Caramel Frap to go and a Lemon and Raspberry muffin please?" I asked
"Of course... LACEY?" She said looking at me
"OH MY Jenna!!! How are you?! I haven't seen you in forever!!" I exclaimed
"We need to catch up! I'll get your drink and muffin and my shift ends in 5 so I'll change and we'll chat" She said taking my money and giving me my change
She asked one of the guys to make my drink and she went of to get changed. Whilst I was waiting I over heard those guys talking about me so I pretended to text
"Who is that? I've never seen her here before" The blonde one said (Tristan)
"I'm not sure, but she looks nice" The tall one said (James)
"Yeah mate, she does" The one with brown hair with blondish streaks (Connor)
"Yeah, she's really pretty!" The curly haired one said smiling and blushing (Brad)
"Aww does ickle Bwaddy have a crush?" The tall one said
"Shut up" The curly haired one said
That's really sweet, he thinks I'm pretty! Well he's quite attractive himself!
After they finished talking I looked over to them then they looked back at me so I smiled and looked away again.
Jeez I'm awkward.
Then Jenna came out with my drink, her drink and my muffin.
We chatted for ages well, about an hour and then my phone started ringing. My ringtone is Mardy Bum by Arctic Monkeys. The curly haired guy looked and smiled
It was Mum.
--Phone line connects---
Hiya Mum
Hi Lace, what time are you coming home?
I'll be home for 5 ish (It was about 4 ish now)
Okay, I'll order Pizza
Okay mum, I'm with Jenna from primary at the moment
That's nice Lace, I'll see you soon Love you
Love you too Mum
--Cuts off--
I leant over to Jenna and asked in a whisper
"Jen, who are those guys?"
"Oh, there these guys in a band... The Vamps I think" She whispered back
"Oh cool, they were talking about me before, the curly one thought I was pretty!" I whispered
"That's nice" She whispered laughing
As It got to 5 I thought it would be a good time to leave, so I stood up and hugged Jenna and we exchanged numbers, then I headed back home.
As I left The guys left as well, like they were stalking me! They stopped at the house before mine and went inside.
This could get interesting.
