Hi guys! So, this will be a Highschool AU where Ash is popular. Don't worry! You will NOT be bullied. And a little bit of rivalry with Gary; just saying.

3rd POV:
A H/C haired girl walked through the hallways, taking in the silence of her high school. No voices echoed throughout, no hurrying footsteps ran by. You may be asking, why would there be anyone at school at 4:00 am? Well, this particular girl was one who would like to get to school extremely early to study, draw, write, etc (I'm PRETTY sure no one would be able to get into school this early but DEAL WITH IT!). As she sat down in her classroom seat, her teacher noticed her come in. He asked Y/N to help him with grading some school papers he had saved for later. The girl accepted the task and got started, a bright red marker in her hand.

Soon, all of her classmates started to arrive at school. The H/C haired girl got her job done quick and soon was in her seat. As soon as she was seated, a raven-haired boy with a familiar red cap approached her from behind. He grabbed her shoulders and shook her, making her yelp in surprise. Y/N turned around to face her friend, Ash Ketchum, and pout.

"Ash! You gave me a heart attack! Why did you do that?!" She exclaimed.

"Where were you when I got to the front entrance?! I thought you were waiting for me!" He countered back.

Y/N crossed her arms and turned back around in her seat to face the front of the classroom, then responded, "I got here two hours earlier than you, so I didn't know you were coming to the entrance. Besides, I was busy helping the Professor grade the papers."

"What did I get?!"

"A 3/10....sorry."

Ash's face turned white, then he slouched down in despair (I'm not referencing ANYTHING so SHHHHHHHH Danganronpa fans). His delicate friend giggled and opened her sketchbook to turn to the last page she was drawing on. The boy was back to reality as soon as he heard the girl's laughter. Ash blushed as she tucked a piece of hair behind her right ear.

'Why did my best friend have to be so CUTE?!' He exclaimed in his thoughts. Suddenly, the two friends caught the squeals of fangirls in the classroom. Ash caught the whispers of girls on his left.

"They're such a cute couple, those two!"

"What do you expect from good friends? Their friendship blossoms into love!"

On the right as well.

"Hmph! That boy isn't as cute as Gary."

"She totally deserves someone better!"

Ash internally groaned at the comments that surrounded him and his friend. Sure, he had a crush on her ever since 4th grade (which was when they first became friends), but they weren't a couple......yet. As if on cue, a certain purple jacket swaggered into the room. The girls who were whispering about Gary were now squealing in delight.

   "'Sup, L/F/N! Having fun with this dork here?" He smirked as his eyes turned towards Ash, who's face is now bright red with anger.

   "He is not a dork. He is really nice, ways there for me, and he never makes snide comments about anyone." Y/N retorted.

   Gary gave her a small smile, then put his hand on her cheek. He whispered to her, "If he's just your friend, do you mind if I kiss you?"

   Before he could do anything, the H/C haired girl stood up from her seat, moved swiftly to Ash, then kissed him on the lips. In front of the class. As she pulled back, a couple of fangirls on Ash's side giggled in happy joy. With a blush spread all across her face, she answered his question.

   Gary's eyes were wide with surprise, then he smirk once again.

   "I knew you could do it! You just needed a little push." He admitted.

   Ash, covering his face with his hat, gave his friend a thumbs up. Y/N turned towards the two 'rivals' and came to the one conclusion she couldn't ignore.

   "You were in the charade too, Ash?!"

   He kissed her on the lips before she could get anymore angry.

Me:  There we go! It was SOO much harder to do for Ash. I had to search up everything for other Pokémon boys in his era.

Bary: She couldn't use me because it didn't feel right to have me as a popular boy.....*pout*

Red: ...

Bary: What?! Don't look at me like that!!!

Steven: *sigh* At least it's finished.

Me: That's true, Steven......so true...
