Shadows Die

Tear down the cross
Splinters and shards remembered

Tonight the boys made a plan to make way towards to shadow base, kill as many as possible. They came across a small building the shadows much have used to hold human prisoners at some point "Cc, destroy" the monotone voice of Andy cut through the darkness and silence, within minutes the building was destroyed and Cc had a look of triumph on his face. The boys kept walking till they found a larger building most likely where the shadows take residents. The Smirk on CC's face said it all, that was the thing about Cc the sweet, happy, carefree man was almost as ruthless as Andy when it came to battle.

In fear and faith
The candles light our freedom
By tainted night
We live this war of wisdom
The streets are stained
With blood that ran their kingdom

Shadows came out of no where and one by one they were defeated Andy moved swiftly, while Cc sounded more like a rabid animal. This is what he does best after all. He noticed Ashley was down and quickly ran to him jumping on the back of the shadow snapping it's neck watching it call to the ground limp "thanks Coma" Ashley said standing up "heads up" he yelled and jumped over Cc stabbing the shadow with his angel blade, the two continued to fight while Jinxx and Jake were on the other side of the field.

Jinxx saw a shadow running after Jake and quickly threw a ball of fire at it watching it burst to flames and fall dead back to hell where it belongs. Seeing two come up between Jinxx Jake ran up and broke the neck of one, and cut the head of the other using his angel sword flipping around and slicing a few more he sensed behind him. While everyone was fighting they heard voice booming through the night

F.e.a.r will round up these rebels!
These deviates! these so called wild ones!
We'll lecture the streets with their bones!
And annihilate the dangerous and obtuse ideas poisoning your children!
Endangering your freedom!
Giving rise to the destruction

Everything went silent as the voice spoke next thing they knew the sun came up and the shadows disappeared, the boys all smiled and lightly limped home knowing no matter what they had each other to count on.
