You may think that perhaps we are like those
famed professors who
lecture on history?
I can tell you
this,
we have all learned to
live and love.
When you take away all
those stained memories and ancient doctrines,
all your eyes and heart
will see,
would be a bonded
group of people
just like you.
But when you think you have seen all
the things we have experienced,
that is where
you are lost.
For seeing isn't everything.
When you think you owe us because of the things
that were taught
to you,
know that the only thing
we taught you was
that history will repeat itself, if we don't learn from it.
The rest was your doing,
you endured mistakes,
corrected wrongs.
and when a situation repeated itself,
you chose to go on the other pathway.
