Age 11 and 14 (part 3)

"Guess who brought a guitar?" The children groaned as Tyler laughed and brought out his guitar. Josh laughed along with him.

"Noo!" Mary yelled. She was about to put her headphones back in.

They were currently sitting around the roasting marshmallows.

"Mary, hand me your phone, please." Josh brought out his hand, palm face up. Mary handed it hesitantly.

She was so tired of this family bonding bull.

"I'm going to play a song." Tyler announced.

"Dad please no!" Jeremy exclaimed, "You probably can't even sing!"

"Young man, I'll have you know that your dad is one of the best singers I've ever heard." Josh assured them.

"I doubt it." Mary chimed it.

Tyler began strumming,

After a couple of notes, he began singing,

When Tyler was done his kids were speechless and Josh couldn't believe who he was married to.

"That's me and your dad's song." Josh said after there was a couple of minutes of silence.

"That's awesome, sing another one." Jeremy requested.

Even Mary secretly wanted him to sing another one.

The family sat around the fire singing along to their favorite songs while their dad strummed out the tunes.
